I went here this Friday night with my friends. It was my second time ever coming here and my first time ever coming here with a bag. I payed for entrance, skates, and second skate and went to walk in after my friend. There was a shorter, older lady with reddish-brown hair up in a bun waiting by the door. (I thought she was waiting for someone) I went to walk in where my friend was holding open the door and she yelled "I need to check your bag!!" I did not hear her over the music and all the talking, so I tried to keep walking. She then stuck her hand out right infront of me and very rudely said "I NEED TO CHECK YOUR BAG" right in my face. I politely said "oh I just have clothes in here" ( I was staying the night with my friend) she then repeated in a very rude tone "I NEED TO CHECK YOUR BAG" my friend was wondering what was going on and walked in more and this lady slammed the door in her face. I said that she was with me and the lady repeated "I NEED TO CHECK YOUR BAG" I apologized and said that I had only ever been here once and did not have a bag before. I opened my bag and showed her the clothes. I asked if I could go inside and she gave me a dirty look and let me in. I will also mention that my friend had a bag and her bag was not checked. Later that night when second session came along, me and my friends went to get in line along with a ton of other people, the same worker tried to make everyone line up where there was no room to line up. Someone spoke up and said we would not be able to fit back there. She looked at them and yelled rudely again "YOU WILL FIND A WAY TO FIT AND IF ANYONE WANTS TO ARGUE WITH ME THEN YOU CAN LEAVE BECAUSE I'M NOT DEALING WITH IT" I had a great night skating with my friends and the rink itself is very nice, but I feel that the owner should have a talk with this woman because there are kids at this rink who shouldn't be yelled at for doing nothing wrong. All of the other staff was...
Read moreNo stars, the owners wife came up to me and my friends and yelled at my friend's and I over us dropping a 50¢ fan that we accidentally dropped over the wall 2 inches away from the wall and where on our way to get when a girl kindly came up to us to hand it back and this women came up and talked to us with an immediately rude tone of voice and told us to give her the fan. So I did so confused, and after I asked my friends what really just happened. She came back and told me I was being disrespectful towards her and threatened me to leave after I got upset that this women was inches from my face yelling over a fan. I let it go untill my friend that I told what happened to and was already upset for different reasons and bought us both one. So I kindly thanked her and kept it. Then my friend used it and this women came over and started yelling at her for "looking at her and waving it over the wall" my friend said she was looking at and waving over one of our other friends. And she told my friend she was lying and being disrespectful and to get out. I stepped in and said we where sorry and if we let it be and go sit somewhere else we won't have a problem. So we all did so. This is a place I used to love and come to every Friday when it had old owners. I still think it's a cool place for friends. But from now on I'll go else where, and will most likely not come back. All of this over a 50¢ fan that we dropped and where picking up and she was...
Read moreI’ve been seeing a lot of 1 star reviews complaining about how “they learned the hard way” that you aren’t allowed to leave/run out to your car and come back in the building. People, There’s literally a sign when you walk in the front door telling you that there is no re entry. It’s for the safety of your children. I 100000% LOVE that you have to be buzzed in once you pay and I love that if you leave the building, unless you repay there is no re entry. The staff is small and I imagine that it’s hard to keep track on the parking lot and inside of the rink. I know that my child can have some good ole fashion fun and she’s safe while doing so! To those complaining about “food allergies”, it’s a roller rink. Eat before you go there or eat after. It’s not the rink’s responsibility to cater to every single need. The point is to go skate and have some fun! No outside food/drink is also for the safety of your children. As for everything else, The staff was so friendly, the place was clean, the prices for the food are great, there’s even a little arcade and you can win prizes! You can request songs to skate too and you can choose between roller skates or roller blades! so many wonderful things about this place! We will 100% be back to skate again....
