Mike's Mart — Local services in Mayfield

I usually visit this store when needing tubes and tobacco. At times, they have what I'm looking for, and other times, they don't. I bought 2 bags of tobacco they had in stock last month and the owner went to a different store he owned to snag a extra bag of tobacco for me that I was wanting which I thought was pretty cool of him to go out of his way and do. In reference to last month, I opened one of the bags I got from the store and noticed the tobacco wasn't all that fresh. As if the bag had just been sitting for a while. 1/4 of the way through the first bag I opened the one the owner snagged for me, and you could tell a major difference between the freshness of that bag he got for me and what I had opened. However, I went in today and saw my brand and snagged them. Upon paying, I was told the price was like 49 and some change, so I started to pull out my credit card and was immediately notified that using cards is a dollar and some change fee. I get that stores have to make money, but charging a fee upon using a CC was not something I was too happy with. On top of paying a bit more extra then I really needed to. I get it's a dollar and some change, but when you get money once a month, every dollar and cent count. I do direct deposit. It's very rare that I ever have cash on hand, and I will not have cash on hand just to get tubes and tobacco when I can use my card.
