Absolutely despicable! I came in today at 930am. Wanted to order hot food. The nasty attitude from the black lady was unforgettable. I was looking at fhe menu and wanted to order something and she said we are not open yet, we open at 10am. I said ok, turned around to go to the restroom and she hollered out we don't serve breakfast on Sundays either. I said really, ok. She said ya, people don't usually come in at 930am for breakfast usually it's like 4am to 430am. Not sure why she would say that...? I went to the restroom and came back and smiled and said ill just take one of thos, as it was fresh and hot. She said not until 10am. I said are you serious? It's got to sit in the hot case until 10am? She said again not until 10am. I walked away with my hands in the air, and said I don't believe it. She stated talking nasty about me to her co worker. I blew $1100 bucks at the casino last night. I could not even buy a hot corn dog. I'll never ever use this travel plaza again and will look into surrounding casinos. 2/23/2015 @ 1:15AM-Went to get gas & cigarello's due to snow storm coming in on Monday & I had checkbooks but NO driver license, debit card or any ID except for an expired driver's license and did not have enough gas to go home and retrieve my ID. I dreaded waking up my 80 yr old Mom in law to come get me and the clerks did not recognize me as I am in there approx. every other day. The manager on duty, SHELLY & cashier-LISA, came to my aid as Shelly heard me on the phone with my husband explaining my dilemma. She checked my expired license and since my checks, license and picture all matched, she willingly allowed me to get my gas and smokes without having to go home and risk running out of gas in single digit temperature and a wind chill of lower than that. ALL MY PRAISE AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THESE TWO LADIES!! I will ALWAYS purchase my gas & smokes at their location due to their willingness to come to my rescue! Unpleasant stop. Great for parking but nothing else. I stop here every week, but that is over now. You just lost a regular customer. I ordered a BLT at breakfast time and was told "we can't do that until lunch time". It's bacon. You already have corn dogs, chicken, etc in the window."Our bread is frozen". Seriously? Do you hear yourselves? Plenty of other businesses around that will make a breakfast sandwich at breakfast time without complaining. The guy at the store counter was professional.
