What an amazing place to visit. The grounds and house are beautiful. The light fixture at the front door is original from 1890, wow. The afternoon tea was delightful. It was relaxing with scrumptious foods and some of the best tea I have tasted. I had the London fog and it didn't even need milk and sugar. The clotted cream was soo good, I needed a second serving. I can't wait to come back! So happy that we found this place for Afternoon Tea. It was lovely. We got to choose which antique teapot our tea was served in. Tea and coffees were delicious as was all the different foods both savory & sweet. Generous portions so we even had leftover treats. The staff member that waited on our table told me that they are able to accommodate larger groups for tea on “off days”. Right now I think they are serving afternoon tea only Tuesday & Thursday. Lovely place. That would be perfect for any event. I went with a group for high tea. They did a nice job, good tea selection. That they didn't have the appropriate tea sandwiches like cucumber. I try to go to T when a business has it so I have a few to compare to. In addition to enjoying many in Europe. I would say this is nicely done. Everyone gets their own teapot. They have clotted cream and lemon curd some common accompanyments but I was disappointed in their selection of foods that...
