This is going to be a lot of review so be prepared .
RogueX offers a lap pool, waterslide and swimming pool for families, outdoor splash pad with shade and basketball courts that can double as an event space when not being used for sports.
RogueX pool is an awesome place to bring the kids for an afternoon. The session rate is very reasonable for two hour sessions at a time.
We appreciate that they are keeping an eye on cleanliness in the pool between each session to avoid having to close because of "accidents" that may happen. We've also watched the lifeguards practicing their skills between sessions making me feel comfortable that they really know what they are doing.
The family pool area has a swim area, lazy river and two waterslides. Our tween and teens loved it especially our tween.
Keep in mind that if you are a parent and you want to go into the pool area you do have to pay to be in the area. There is a nice little area outside of the pool with tables and chairs if you don't want to pay. The lifeguards are well staffed so I have no problem letting my treans hangout without me being in the actual pool area. It's understandable because of pool area capacity and there is a cutoff for how many people can actually go in.
Bonus: you can have a swim birthday party with a private room that has a refrigerator and sink,...
Read moreWent there to meet a friend for their birthday and werenât allowed in cause the session was âfullâ even though there was only 45 minutes left in the session and it wasnât full. We had never been before and were excited but it was very discouraging to be turned away after driving all the way there. This system of capacity management makes no sense, why not count people as they leave and let those in who are waiting, they would make more money that way and you can still have âsessionsâ that end and everyone leaves before the next session. I worked at a pool that did this and it was easy. A hand clicker is cheap and the staff are already at the desk. Also not allowing people in to not even swim and just say hi or hang out with their kids makes no sense. Hopefully the management will change...
Read moreâResident pricingâ is only within Medford city limits, so make sure you lie when they ask your zip code if you live in Central Point đ
This facility COULD be incredible, but is clearly government owned and operated. I see zero efforts being made to maximize profits or even an attempt to provide basic customer service.
Businesses succeed by offering a service/product people want AND continuing to make it enjoyable/relevant for customers.
This place is paid for by our taxes, and the staff + rules make it quite clear that they donât care about your money or the experience you have there, because theyâll get paid either way.
