Green Street Natural Foods — Local services in Melrose

My mom shopped here when I was growing up in the 80's. I recently moved back to the area and began shopping here myself as an adult. It hasn't lost its charm. It's a health conscious store run by an incredibly lovely family. They are very educated about health and the items they sell, including where their food is sourced. They are always ready to research and order items that they haven't started stocking yet. The produce is impeccably fresh and well cared for. Things like fresh organic Brussel sprouts can be hard to find including at Whole Foods but this little shop always has a small stash on hand. I like to shop here first before going to any big chain because I believe in small businesses especially those that contribute to the health of the community. I highly reccomend...

Finally got around to stopping by and I’m glad I did. Needed to make a honey bomb for a cold. Picked up some fresh ginger and lemons along with local raw honey and Ceylon cinnamon. Found a few new snacks like Gus soda and am currently drinking the Tierra Farm coffee I got from here. The place is cozy and clean and the owner Jason was very helpful. I will definitely be back!
