Number One Taste — Restaurant in Melrose

Before Covid I would rate this restaurant a 4 for their food, but little by little the quality of their food is getting worse and the amount they put in the box isn’t as much as before. I recently order from their restaurant as pick up and they only gave me one duck sauce for 4 combos specials that I ordered and paid. They claim that the food and the amount is the same pre-Covid but they changed the container which holds a little amount of food. Excellent food, fast & great portions! We have been ordering from # 1 Taste for over 3 years now. The food has always been excellent. Don't let the small storefront dissuade you from going in. The staff is friendly and your stomach will surely agree. We recommend the General's chicken and "family for four".
