Kennedy’s Ice Cream Bar — Restaurant in Melrose

I love it here. I have ro confess u weren't there so I used ro for to dairy delight before u opened and I tried it the first time I saw ur place I may have given them an idea by accident I actually sent a pretty bad complaint but u may be able to prosper call it the volcano. The original owners were a dad and son operation I dont believe the son had the compassion the dad did because when he told me he was retiring that year and his son would take over the next year it was but they used ro make this was my idea he would make me a soft serve vanilla increase sundae he would swirl the ice cream leam leaving the center hollow like a hole then he would fill that with my favorite CARAMEL AND LOADS OF JAMES AND THEN WIPtry it your soft serve and all ur ice cream is incredible but in my complaint i told them about it.. get on it before they do. There soft serve unless it has changed is like synthetic ice cream gross i knew when j ordered a small and it was huge I tried ro explain what I wanted and just told u but they couldn't figure it out. Bannan Boat in revere,ma same soft serve as far as I know I took two bites actually like 4 and threw it away so did my girlfriend at both spots horrible.. keep doing what your doing if u add it to ur menu i live on 109 street? As someone who is always eating ice cream, i was excited about an ice cream shop opening that was selling a different brand of ice cream. But I personally find the menu at this shop to be a little confusing to understand. i don't understand the price break down and why it is written the way it is on the menu. I frequent many ice cream places and have never seen a menu written like it is here. it is also very hard to see because it is high up and written in weird chalk colors. they did have paper menu's that you could grab and look at. I also find the pricing to be on the expensive side compared to other places i frequent. The small hard serve was over 5$ with no toppings or dips. Not sure if this is because of the location, or if the ice cream brand they sell is expensive, or just based on the amounts in each size. the small was a lot of ice cream that i couldn't finish (realistically it should probably be considered a medium). I can't imagine what the kiddie size looked like or if a child would even be able to finish it either, which i personally think defeats the purpose of a "kiddie size" ice cream. I feel as though they could have had the amounts and sizing portioned differently. The staff here is good. The ice cream flavor i chose, "the pink unicorn", was good and they did have interesting flavors on the menu. But based on reasons stated above, i personally do not find this place to be worth frequenting over other shops in the area (that sell homemade ice cream or richardsons) with better pricing and ice cream that is...

I have been here more than once. There was one time when there was only one person working and the line was out the door. I felt horrible for her working by herself. But she handled it with Grace and this review is not a reflection of that time. Went back another time to pick up an Uber eats order which said it was ready on my phone. I was greeted by a different woman working this time who had employees working with her. She yelled at me and gave me attitude. I was just asking her about what line to stand in for my Uber eats order, I was very respectful. My order is still not ready and it we are very past the time of it saying it has been according to Uber eats app. I understand things happen, but that’s never an excuse to be rude and yell. Horrible customer service. You need to hire more/new staff. This woman who talked me like this should not be working with people clearly can’t handle...
