My Daddy, Fred Key, (founder of Raleigh Tire Service, Inc., for those of you who believe the backstabbing BS that Albert (Bubby) Bellanti & Ronnie Bollino & their families told & continue to tell everyone all sorts of lies when in reality, they pulled a “hostile takeover” of the company that Daddy formed in ‘61.) ANYWAY, he turned me onto this wonderful family operation, always patronizing the self-made man & his business, & I’ve been there many times, always finding what I needed and then some. You cannot go wrong with Scarborough’s if you’re a novice or a life-long gardener or if you simply yearn to be. They have the knowledge & information you will need to take care of any issues you may have. Take your business to our local merchants, all over town, build those friendships & over time, you & your children/grandchildren will learn what the American Dream is all about! Hopefully, everyone can avoid placing their trust in the greedy & self-centered like my Daddy did. (I try to let as many people in town know what happened at Raleigh Tire as I possibly can, as I demonstrated here, because they told multiple tales about the man who gave them the chance of a lifetime to be their own boss because he worked at MLGW & needed cover for the day shifts. This might look like a lowkey nursery however, it a nursery that had a large variety of plants and flowers. In spring they has great choices of garden plants and their prices have been much cheaper than other places in greater Memphis area. In the past they have had a huge selection of Mums that are huge and a great deal cheaper other places in the greater Memphis area. They have a helpful staff working there. I went to this nursery because it looked so wonderful on the website...It is nothing like that, it is in horrible condition, had to tell it was ever a nursery...I did not see any live...
