Update on the bottom of my post! Loved the movie 'Sound of Freedom' !! Went to another movie there about a month before. Got a drink and a huge bucket of popcorn (plus a refill). Had a good time! But... This time we got a drink and a huge bucket of popcorn. I took 1 bite and was like, Whoa 😳 that is salty! I told the man behind the counter (I guess was in charge). 'Can I get another batch? This is very salty!' He proceeded to lecture me on how they made their popcorn with specific measurements. I said yes, I know, but this is extremely salty. (Someone had added extra salt; there were granules) He insisted this is how we make it, and I'm not going to change it and burn the popcorn. I just wanted a fresh batch that hadn't had extra salt added to it. Didn't need the lecture!! Didn't eat the popcorn. Should have asked for my $ back! But it was crowded at this point, I didn't want to miss the movie. Next time, I guess I will take my big purse!! 😆 ** THANK YOU SILVER SCREEN!! You promptly offered to make my salty popcorn situation better! That's good enough for me! You care enough to respond and take action to want to make things right for me. That's all I needed to hear!! I appreciate that very much!! Seemed like y'all had someone fairly new training & concessions was (almost out the door) crowded! We go to this movie theater every so often and have always had a great experience. I’ve seen some of the other reviews that weren’t great and all I can say is if you expect a Cinemark experience then you should drive the two hours to receive that plus pay more for ticket and concessions, but for me and my family we are very happy to have a small town theater right here in Mena. If you have an issue, address it with the owner before making a bad review. I’m sure it will be made 100% right. I feel like that’s common sense. I rarely review unless the experience was horrible awful or really really good. My experience was really really good. The people making the bad reviews would be the first people to complain if it closed down. Just can’t please some people.

Anyway, we booked the theater for a my daughters party this weekend and the party room was already booked but they offered to set up a table in the cinema room for us and I actually think I’d prefer that. It was awesome. They were so attentive and helpful. Everyone had an amazing time. I would have a party here again and again.

My granddaughter had her birthday party there this weekend. The communication to set up the party was not exactly easy. A while after the movie started, I could hear doors being slammed, a buzzing or sawing noise, and people talking so loudly in the concession area that it was difficult to understand the movie which wasn't really loud enough to begin with.
