The other day, I accidentally stepped on one of my favorite rings. I was rather upset because the ring had sentimental value. So, I decided to take the ring to Mendham Jewelers to see if they could fix it. I have been to Mendham Jewelers twice before for small issues (knot in my necklace, etc.) and the main jeweler, Bob, was always extremely friendly and helpful. Even though I knew the quality of the establishment, I was still worried that it would be impossible to return the ring to its perfect shape. I explained my situation to Bob and showed him a picture of how the ring originally looked. Within minutes, he was able to bend the ring back. Now, it’s like the ring never even got damaged. As an added bonus, I asked Bob if he had a polishing cloth (I received one from him when I got my necklace fixed a year or two back) because it worked wonders on polishing my gold jewelry. I'll just say, don't waste your time trying to sell any gold, silver or diamonds here, besides the nasty attitude (who I guess may be the owner), they will only try and rip you off completely by asking for 10% of YOUR ownings. When I said, "10% is too high", the quick response was out of greed, "Well, I have to make MONEY somehow..." While I absolutely agree that is true in essence, there are plenty of other much more notable places in Northern NJ that actually are worth driving to and will actually care for the customer and ask for a WAY less and MUCH MORE FAIRER rate of percentage. This place has greed written all over it.

I can't comment if you need a ring fixed, that's not what this review is about - but don't fall for that sign that's posted outside their doorstep each day to sell your assets. Do your research, I made an attempt, but a complete negative experience and will never walk in...
