You can't beat the prices here, and the wide aisles allow you to shop without crowding. The meat department is always stocked, and their butcher(s) will fix you up based on your needs. They make Aldi in High Ridge seem expensive and crowded. Some might not like their store brands, but I'm no high roller and I find them to be as good or better than Best Choice brands sold at Schnucks and other stores in our area. I like the store, the staff are Awesome! But for the past few months the meat department has gone down hill! I was there today and I saw 3 packages of meat that looked like it was rotten. I mean very dark brown with green tint to it. Idk if they have a new butcher or what! But seeing outdated meat that looks like it was taken out of the hot sun and put into the floor refrigerator is not appetizing to me.
