Used to like this place but the last couple of times we have ordered from there the food quality and definitely the service has gone down. Tonight was the worse though. Called our order in and they forgot to give us one of our meals. No problem that happens. When we called to let them know they told us they would have the next delivery driver bring it out. 45 minutes later I called to find out if the meal was on it's way. I was told it hadn't left yet because they had been slammed with take out orders. Admittedly I was not happy and drove back to the restaurant to get my meal. I asked them (angrily) why they didn't notify us it was going to be so long and told them I expected it to at least be credited since it had now been over 2 hours since we ordered our food. Salad was obviously the same when they had made over an hour ago and chicken was ice cold. As I walked out of the restaurant I looked back to see the staff laughing about the whole thing. I couldn't believe it so went back in and asked to speak to a manager (mind you these look like all high school kids) but was told there wasn't one on duty. There was no apologies for any of this and apparently one of the kids was the owners son. His attitude was the worse. On top of all this when I got back home the order was still wrong and the owners son flat out lied to me when he said there was 3 honey mustards with my salad when there was only 1. After this and the last couple of times we received food from here being bad, we are done. Really unfortunate as there aren't a lot of place around here that deliver or even go to eat at. Read moreDecided to stop at a new place for Pizza this evening. Went in and was greeted by a very sweet and nice waitress. She was very happy with a genuine smile that was contagious. We were the only customers in the place at the time which seemed odd for a Saturday night. Reading the reviews online it was a hard decision to stop but we figured it might be a diamond in the rough. The waitress took our complicated order and read it back to insure it was correct. The bill was almost 60 dollars but that included a second pizza also that we took half baked to bring home. Our food arrived and we did enjoy the pizza. Our waitress came to check on us many times and always with a smile. She stayed to talk to us since there was only one other table and many other employees that seemed to be doing little to nothing. After about 10 minutes her manager came out to yell at her about missing a phone in order that another employee took. When she explained that she was waiting on us he told her to answer the phone or leave in front of us. She had done nothing to be treated this way so my wife and I called out the manager for being a bully and having poor people skills. It also started to explain why a restaurant with good food and good service was empty on a Saturday night. If anyone needs to be fired over this it's the manager. He took what had been a pleasant experience and made it into a rotten experience. Good employees are difficult to find that actually care about the customer and want to do a good job. He probably fired her and I hate that it happened to her. Read moreWe have ordered from Big River multiple times. They almost always leave something off the order but still charge for it. They use Slice for online ordering, which we did over the weekend. It took nearly 2 hours to get our food. Slice sends an email when you order & another when the store received the order. After 40 minutes of no email, I called Big River. The kid was rude. He said they had just received our order & it would be another 45-60 minutes. Our deluvery guy was very friendly. Maybe because Slice gives you a different price than the actual one, so he ended up with a $10 tip. When our food finally got delivered, we were missing a salad. I called & the manager said they could run it back or credit me. At this point, I just took the credit. My husband then opened his extremely burnt, crunchy Philly cheesesteak and couldn't even eat it. We ordered fried pickles that were so soggy & had no ranch with them. We have ordered burgers from there before that were so undercooked we couldn't eat them. I believe we should at least be refunded for our last horrific order, but I can't find an email for them. I've called but got no answer and unfortunately have a job so I can't spend all day trying to reach them. We will not be ordering from them anymore.
