Ready Equipment - Rentals & Sales — Local services in Meredith

Picked up a fully-electric DR ZT5E from them last year. Had a great experience with sales & delivery. I got this for a community solar project, but have been loaning it to neighbors as well. There are two blade speed settings, the following tests were done with the higher speed for a neater cut, but not optimizing for battery usage. With the full 7.5kWh:

Lawn 1 (mowed twice) | under 1hr | 1.5 acre | 31-44% Lawn 2 (mowed once) | 1hr+ | ~50% | 1.3 acre Charging | 3.5hr | 44%

With a lower speed setting on the solar field, I got rates aligned with the 5 acre rating on the mower, but not a lot of buffer on top of that.

And some really good feedback from the drivers: "Neighbor loved it. Same observations I had. Doesn't tear up yard on turns like our mowers." "wicked fast!"

As a bonus, the batteries come out of the mower. So I hooked up an Anderson Coupling to a 4kW inverter and now can back up my well+fridges for days when the power goes out.

P.S. I the charger has a max charge rate of 23A, but the batteries are rated at up to 78A charging, each! Would be curious what DR has to say here but it seems like you could charge up to ~10x faster with a better charger! Although probably that would drop as the batteries near their fill.
