Place is run by a bunch of teenagers who could care less. There wasn’t a single person I’d identify as an adult and if this business wants to actually make money and stay in business then I’d put some adult supervision in place! Went there and There were exactly 3 parties. I could tell the young girl taking my order was new and needed help. I explained to two people what I was looking for. Multiple times I repeated myself. Chicken dinner scallop roll and I think it was called the tamarack My bill was $60 for the food pictured. $60! I sat there and sat there. Someone came to the window and mentioned something about them “86ing” tenders but they had enough for my order. I waited and waited more in the hot sun. There were 3 parties there. No one else. 2 parties came and went and a half hour later I go up to the window and ask about the food. It was 3 orders of fried food. The guy goes oh your order has been up no one told you? Nope! So my fried food sat in styrofoam containers sweating and getting soggy for a half hour. Barely an apology and not a single Condiment. I had questioned the $60 I got charged as well for 3 items. They thought I asked for 2 tenders orders (mind you I repeated myself multiple times to 2 people.) so the girl does the math and is like you overpaid my $10 (I thought more but who cares at this point I’m just ready to GO!) Then the girl asks if I want my $10 back?! Ummm first off I tipped to begin with. I waited 30 mins with no other customers, while melting in the sun, you overcharged me and then what expect that as a tip for good service?! I have 3 boxes. A brace on my wrist because it’s broken and I ask for a bag so I didn’t have to carry it one handed. Do you think they offered to help after the inconvenience or let me struggle one handed? Do you think I was offered an apology? Then I get home. No condiments. Food a sweaty hot mess and my $14 chicken dinner was kid sized at best. The whole $60 meal was a joke. It wasn’t worth 20. My friend was gonna call to complain. I said there’s a bunch of teenagers working there that could care less. If they cared they would’ve showed some sense of compassion when i was there. I’m all about supporting small business but there’s plenty more in the area for me to ever want to go back to that place. I was there with my family last Tuesday around 12:30, not long after they opened. Before ordering we used the restroom. Only one was in working condition. The entire dining room stunk like sewage. We ordered our food specifying the specials that were listed on the window. My sisters meal came with a drink, we were charged for the drink, fine they gave us our money back for that. We ordered the footlong hotdog, we got a regular hotdog. My mom ordered the trio fries, sweet potato and onion rings, they never added it to her order. She ordered the scallops and there were literally 6 pieces. That was 27. My cousin received her order and it was totally wrong and they charged her for fries she did not order. They were slow, young girls that had no idea what they we’re doing and they we’re extremely rude. There was an old man back there that all he was doing was looking at the young girls. So creepy. I would not want my daughter working there. The prices listed were old and never updated. The barrels were overflowing from the day before because at 12:30, when they open at 11 there was no way they were filled. The dumpster was open and it smelled so bad. We were not the only customers having order issues. I could hear others complaining when I went up to get a to go box. The food was pretty good. Overall a lot of the reviews have been absolutely horrible on this restaurant. Needless to say it was very concerned about eating there. We used to eat at this place 45 years ago. Back then I will be perfectly honest it was much better than it is today. Unfortunately that's why a lot of restaurants are a lot of them are a lot better in the past and they are presently.overall what we had is we had the typical fried clams scallops mixed platters that sort of thing. And I've had better, but I've also had far worse. Overall I'd say the food was quite decent and that's pretty much what I have to say about it was a decent meal prices are surprisingly reasonable I mean very reasonable $19 for a combination clam and shrimp platter you try and find that for $19 anywhere else and you'll have a hard time they usually go for close to 30 or more. So I would say the price point is probably one of their best things out there. For myself I don't mind spending a little more to up the quality but if they want to keep the price point as it is using what they're using that's okay by me.they were quite busy and they got all of the orders they ran out of the calamari that was about it.
