Had an amazing interaction with one of the workers', she helped troubleshoot what type of tool I would need to purchase even when we both didnt know what we needed. Left me feeling as if this was a great place to ask questions for someone who, unfortunately doesn't have, own, or use tools often, and be taught. The following week I came back to make another purchase for something related and came into an odd interaction with another employee. I was greeted by him and as I made my way into an aisle, I decided to turn back and ask for help again as, I unfortunately have no idea what I was looking at to begin with. I go back to the same man who warmly greeted me a moment ago and asked if he'd be able to me figure out what size nut this may of been, I showed him a picture , and as he looked down he abruptly looked back up at me and asked if I knew what size it was.. I inform him, "no unfortunately.. Im trying to get a idea..", he proceeds to tell me, that he cant help me if I dont know the size of the nut.. Shocked as he hardly even looked at the picture, I tell him ok.. I guess I can work this out myself.. and I walked off.
I ended up buying a roll of wrenches because I really didn't know what to buy and ended up spending 2x what I was even wanting to from the get go... I only needed a single wrench. I was practically forced into buying multiple as a man, who looked to be well off in his late 50s if not 60s couldn't be bothered to look at my picture of a car battery to help me brainstorm what I may of needed. I didn't mind buying the wrong thing and coming back to exchange it, as I live 5 minutes away, I just didn't want to buy more than what I needed.. especially in this economy.. I thought this was a hardware store... I dont expect the employees to know everything about hardware. Hell, I dont expect anything from them really. The interaction very unfortunate as I'll likely just drive to O'reileys from here on out as my issue is car related in...

Read moreGreat customer service!! We had our ac unit go out on a Saturday, I was able to put the part needed on hold on the phone before we drove a good distance to pick it up. When I arrived I was helped quickly and 2 employees answered all my questions. An older gentleman was super knowledgeable about switching out the part and made me feel so much better about doing the job...
