Let me start by saying that any place that keeps their AC at a comfortable & refreshing level during the summer is going to get high marks from me! đ Additional bonus points for the staff greeting me upon entrance every single time, never a miss! There is a lot to explore in this lovely antique mall. All of the booths are neat and tidy. I can't think of another antique mall that I frequent where I can say this! Loads of TRUE antique and vintage booths, instead of rows of crafters selling their Farmhouse/Rae Dunn decor. The music in the store always hearkens back to the 60's & 70's, (which this GenXer appreciates) and is just loud enough to enjoy without being overwhelming. The staff is super helpful and friendly! Always someone to take your things up front for you so you aren't bogged down with items while trying to look at other treasures. Also, a small selection of cold drinks available for purchase at the front desk, and restrooms are open for customers. They have storewide sales once a month. Each vendor deciding their own percentage off. During the cooler months, they have once-a-month flea markets in the parking lot, which is always fun, and can't come soon enough! đ One last thing, if you are a collector of vintage Pyrex, Jadeite, Anchor Hocking, or Tupperware, you'll find lots of vendors offering these items at fair prices!...
Read moreMedium sized place, very clean with good air conditioning. Staff didn't bother me at all. You aren't going to "pick" this place and make any serious money. Not going to happen. Lower your expectation. If you have ever been to one of these places it's typical of Antique Malls. Cloths, jewelry, coins, glasses, dishes, silverware, coats, hats, boots, toys, Militaria, comic books, etc, etc , sold at or above retail price.
They had next to no Antique furniture there for sale. I didn't see any vintage motorcycle parts, bicycle parts, signs, radios, slot machines, coin op, car parts, firearms, computers, video game. They had some knives, swords, old tools, Militaria and leather stuff. I would say this place has been "picked" pretty thoroughly. But I've only been through here once so I could have missed something.
For those who are interested, Superstition Grand Antique Mall is smaller then the Main Street Antique Mall which just so happens to be about a block away down the road. I give this place 3 out of 5 stars because it was very much what I was expecting. I would go back again and I can recommend...
Read moreStaff is extremely rude. My family and I walked in 10 minutes before they closed. We were well aware of the time but it is my 14 year old daughterâs birthday and she wanted to stop in quick. We were met at the door by a woman who very loudly and rudely said, âyou have 10 minutes.â I said, âok, thank you.â Literally two minutes later, she announced (to us because no one else was in the store) over the intercom that they were closing. Less than a minute later, another woman rushed up to tell us that sheâs closing the cash register. I mean, seriously. We are customers. Arenât customers the people who keep these places in business? We love antiques and my daughter is really into WWII stuff. We wouldâve come back later when we have more time to shop but, we wonât after being basically pushed out the door. We were back in the car at 5:28. The store closes at 5:30. The people working there really need...
