Been a long time online customer of Wild West Mercantile. Recently moved to AZ and was looking forward to actually going to the brick and mortar location. Decided to make the 1.5 hr run after receiving a discount code. Could have used it online but wanted to actually see the store. Was excited to get there. But that ended with the encounter with the person behind the first counter. My wife asked to use the restroom. She replied with “we don’t have public restrooms” already sounding irritated that we even asked. My wife very nicely said we’d been on the road awhile. Actually she said where we came from. The response was “It’s posted and you can use the one at the Dollar General”. It’s not the fact that public restrooms were not available it was the entire encounter with the employee, dismissive and sounding irritated from the get go. Had we not made the drive I probably would have left. Well the lingering to see what we can spend money on turned into getting what we absolutely needed (Gifts) and getting out. Your employees' interaction with customers not only cost you a much bigger sale because there were items I would have liked to get. But now you lost a long time customer. There are other vendors I’ve dealt with that are truly customer oriented. I’m truly sorry SASS has chosen to partner with you as your employee does not in any way personify what SASS stands for. The Cowboy Way. Of course I’ve come to find out by reading complaints with the BBB and other reviews it appears this is Wild West Mercantile’s standard operating procedure. Ordered a couple items online. Very slow processing/shipping even though you pay for priority. I received another item from a store in California shipped priority two days before this store when ordered the same day. Pants didn’t fit so had to do a return. Called and the girl that answered sounded like I was bothering her. Told me to send an email for a Return Authorization Number.The email, I received, included two pages of “warnings” and threats…actually highlighted so brightly that you had to copy and paste into another document to read…that your return will be rejected if X. Also said it takes a min of 30 business days to get refund process after they receive the return and accept it. Return shipping cost is on you. I got tracking on my return and it has now been a regular month and still haven’t gotten my refund. So I’m assuming they mean 6 weeks. Absolutely garbage. Pass on this company and order from Texas Jacks or Historical Emporium if you’re looking for old west clothes. Much better customer service, fast shipping and no hassle returns. I found the prices are normally a dollar or two lower there as well. Historical Emporium actually has items on Amazon so that’s very nice. Wild West Mercantile is a...

If I could Leave ZERO Stars I would. My Name is Dr Brown, Im part of a few organizations in which we have literally 1000'sof members. I personally purchase thousands of dollars of apparel ( jeans, clothes, shirts, suspenders, boots, etc) over the last 13 years or so, usually under 2 different addresses. I recently bought a pair of suspenders, the faux (fake) leather holding the suspenders is on backwards in 3 spots. I asked to return the item ( 2nd time they sent me the same item with backward stitching and leather) and the manager literally is so rude, she wouldn't take a breath to let me talk, talked over me at every 3 words, and said she refuses to allow me to switch them for a different item, claiming she didn't have the paperwork ( even though I gave her the order number and she pulled up all the info in her computer).

RUDE, AND THAT IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE.

Its a $19.99 dollar pair of suspenders, you're going to lose your customers over $19??

I have already removed your business from our registry on 3 platforms and for 2 different societies. I will never do business or shop with you again.
