CEFCO Travel Center — Local services in Mexia

If you go into this location usually after 10 at you on it to the rest of the day the service is abhorrent. The staff moves very slow it can be multiple individuals in there working the store but the line that goes back to the house which is pretty close to the front and you'll have one person checking the people and the other as if they can't stop what they're doing to come and attend to customers. I visited the location today and as I'm trying to do a transaction with cash and credit the attendant with dreadlocks and almost to look like a African American Sideshow Bob but she's female does not know what she's doing so I have to go out and pump my gas with the cash and do a double transaction. The white associate that was working was too busy to help with the extra people until it came to the Caucasian customers that needed assistance and she was gladly able to come and assist them when it was going to turn in the line. When I came back in to do my transaction I did it with the white lady and she was able to complete it with no issue the African-American appears to tell me that I have an attitude because there's something wrong with my card evidently she didn't didn't know what she was doing because the white associate was able to complete the transaction. Very professional to get into a shouting or argument with a customer that's not even arguing and insultinsu customer and not sure what she got her training but I told her to don't be upset with me because she's working as a gas attendant or store clerk. Real professional show don't empathy and a disregard for the situation and how to deescalate the situation and show empathy. Poor...

I have had so many problems over the years with cefco. Mostly on wrong prices in the store. Decided to give this store another chance and bought some popcorn on sale. New prices were taped to shelf. Rang up wrong and all they could say was. I can’t over ride corporate prices. They are so corporate and don’t want to take care of a customer any more.

I didn't really do nothing but buy cigarettes but took forever and when I finally left to get in car the place got very busy and my car almost got struck by another 2 times before leaving parking lot I hope this place has better karma than when I stopped there that day briefly, to be honest haven't been in there since cuz of fear of losing a fender or bumper or who knows with this busy establishment .. good lucky to any adventurous...
