Ive been a customer for years as its been my only choice and for the past several months in gone waaay down hill. Our internet disconnected, a confirmed number by the service department, 35 times in 3 days. Im paying over 100$ for my 100mbps service ant wont receive more than 20 at most times steadily. When it cuts off for no reason it takes hours to reestablish connection. Yesterday alone it took 4 hours to initialize to come online. Not only does the severely overly frequent cut out affect my family entertainment its affects my businesses and income as well. Its taking my money out of my pocket daily because they cant get the effort to fix the problem. I only have Northland because i have a higher chance to get faster speeds thats arent satilite or DSL. Ive been calling for weeks multiple times a day to get a solution but nothing yet. Even is im finally writing this review its gone out 5 times in the past 2 hours within minutes of it being offline and is currently offline now. Im so ready for Northland to have competition in the mexia area to get them to fix their crappy service and overly priced packages which are miles behind other...
Read moreHorrible, overpriced internet. We started off paying $45 for 25 Mbps, and after one year they suddenly increased to $90! The connection itself is pathetic...it slows down MAJORLY every night for no reason and they have been unable to correct the issue...not that they've really put that much effort into it. I have called numerous times and they won't even send a tech out to check the cables and router. The internet Has dropped for the past three days for hours with no explanation or apologies from the company. I have to call to get any answer and when I do call it's as if I'm overreacting. Excuse me, I'm paying $90 a month for this junk, and I need a connection to work! Its definitely not worth what we are paying and I feel taken advantage of because of the fact they more than doubled our bill with no change of quality. They are the only company that is available for this area, unfortunately so We are stuck with them until we move...and I am counting down the days.
If you can get anything besides northland, do it. This company is out to screw you out of your money for as little as they can give...
Read moreToday on Dec 5th 2022 I paid 100 dollars on my account with Vyve. I was behind and had been trying to pay on it. I paid 20 last month towards the past due amount. And was doing the same this month today. I received my text that they received my payment for 100 dollars. And then the next thing you know an hour or more later I receive another text stating they received my $145.70 payment!? With Christmas and other bills due I freaked out and immediately checked my bank account where I saw that they had actually taken 245.70 total out of my bank account. I of course then freak out and immediately call Vyve Broadbannd for them to tell me after an hour of time and 2 calls later they couldn't refund the 145.70 that I had noT authorized. That their "system" would only allow for the 100 dollars to be returned because the 145 was what was owed!! SCAM SCAM SCAM ALL OVER IT. Never gave me the 45 dollars back. They LITERALLY STOLE IT.
