Re: Customer Service from Store Owner with Defective Perfumes Bottles leaves a Terrible Taste
Review: I recently had a terrible experience at Miami Lakes Perfume Store with the Store Owner. I took out the perfumes from the bag five (5) days after purchasing them, intending to finally use them. However, to my disappointment, the sprayer was not working at all. Not even a single drop would come out. The product went bad without even being used once. I feel compelled to share my disappointment. The management's attitude towards customers is simply horrible and they are not accommodating at all.
To make matters worse, the perfumes I purchased had defects. When I approached the manager to discuss the issue and request a switch or exchange, I was met with nothing but resistance. Unlike reputable stores like Macy's, Dillard's, or Bloomingdale's, where customer satisfaction is a priority, Miami Lakes Perfume Store showed no interest in resolving the issue.
Instead of taking responsibility for the faulty products, the manager accused me of mishandling the perfume by allegedly dropping it or leaving it in the car. These baseless accusations were not only disrespectful but also unprofessional.
I have been a loyal customer and have recommended many people to this store, but now I regret doing so. The manager's unwillingness to replace the defective items and the barrage of excuses and accusations were extremely disappointing.
I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when purchasing from Miami Lakes Perfume Store, as they have no established return policy for damaged products. Save yourself the frustration and shop at more reputable stores that value their customers and stand behind the quality of their products.

It wasn't 5 days, it was 10 days. And the bottle had CLEARLY been dropped. We are not responsible for your dropping a bottle of perfume nearly 2 weeks after you bought it from us.

First of All: The owner did not even inspect the bottle to confirm that there were no scratches on it.
Second of All: Are you asking that each bottle be opened in front of you to confirm they work before a customer walks out the customer.
Third of All: I came back to your store on the ninth day as this was not an emergency.
Fourth of All: Are you arguing the fact that weeks is your limit on correcting a defective product. Please clarify to avoid that any customer falls prey to your shady dealings with having to try each bottle before they walk out...

I also would not allow someone who purchase an item goes home uses it then expects to return it. 95% of people who go to purchase a fragrance is because they use it and are buying it again. Very rarely does someone go in to buy a new product. His prices are reasonable and less expensive then your local Macyâs or your Perfume-mania. And are not water downed like some stores that sell perfumes ( a store on 57th and palmetto). There just people out there that are hustlers and always trying to get over, on folks who are willing to support their neighborhoods while trying to make a living.
