Polo Norte Palm Springs North — Restaurant in Florida

I will no longer be ordering from this Polo Norte ever again. I ordered delivery through their OWN website, order went through and I was charged, but the website showed it chose the wrong address. I called to correct it and the next 16 minutes were complete chaos - I was told to call a number that didn’t exist, cancel the order (of which there is no option), etc. Then I was told that the manager canceled my order out of nowhere. I tried multiple times to explain to them that they still had delivery as an on their website and that it was going to keep taking orders, and all I kept being told was to order through DoorDash, completely ignoring my concern for future customers. Then she straight up put the phone down and WALKED AWAY. I called back, picked up immediately, told me to hold, then actually hung up on me. I had still yet to ask about a confirmation for my order being canceled, and now trying to call back, it seems my number won’t go through.

I have to assume they thought I was harassing them when they don’t have a single employee on site that speaks clearer English, but this is a real issue and I would call it a scam otherwise if a restaurant didn’t prove cancelation of my order and then refused to answer my calls.

I will be taking this up with a higher branch...

I just had the most bizarrely negative experience here. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant before in my life. I am so confused as to why the servers here decided to treat me in this way. I came in by myself and despite the fact it was pretty empty nobody even made eye contact with me for almost ten minutes. I placed my order with a server and after she dropped off my drink I never saw her again. Oh wait no, I did see her when I saw her from far away pointing at me and then whispering to one of the other servers! You know I thought maybe this is just how they treat people here but nope I saw all of the servers interact with every other customer in a friendly manner. When one of the other servers dropped off my bill (because mine apparently didn’t care if I enjoyed my meal, if I needed anything, or if I wanted to order anything else) they didn’t look me in the eye. I wasn’t impolite to anybody there but they managed to make me feel less than human in the span of my meal. I have worked in the foodservice industry for over five years and I have never seen people treat a guest in such a rude way.

The food was pretty bad too but I couldn’t tell anybody because I got avoided like the plague for reasons I am still...

Only 1 star for some of the servers that really try, but in general not a nice experience. My husband and I came over to eat at this place with our son. We waited more than 20 minutes to be seated. Ok is Sunday, let’s wait I said. Even though I could tell how disorganized things were, there were few tables empty and not being used because the person in charge and everyone else was so focused accommodating a party of 15. Finally we got seated and guess what we waited for almost an hour for our food. Really it takes that long to make a medianoche sandwich and a steak sandwich??? Not even my son’s chicken tenders were ready. Many other tables who sat after us were already eating! We kept asking the server and she just gave us the round around and the person in charge not helpful his excuse “Well I have only 3 ppl in the back and is Sunday” Well guess what, micromanage or hire more ppl sr!
