I am very selective when it comes to visiting any Vicky's Bakery due to the difference of customer service and taste of food. This particular location is horrible at customer service. They are very loud, unprofessional and do not assist their customers in a very timely manner. I would consider this location the "chusma" location because of their lack of work ethics. I was shocked to see who were the face of this location.... definitely not a good impression. I visited this location on September 10, 2020. I spent 45 minutes in line along with 5 other customers that were in front of me. There is definitely no need whatsoever to wait this long at a bakery as if they were baking something fresh for you. The whole time while waiting, 2 employers (Yanelis and one being the manager, I assume) were talking about this cake order and who said what to the customer. Yanelis, her sassy self, had no professionalism at all where she would talk to the manager with an attitude and would also speak to the customer the same way until it was time for me to order. Every customer heard the conversation going back and forth from these two ladies and then involved another employee. What type of people do you have working for this location representing your bakery? I felt as if I was in Cuba. I will definitely not be going back to this location. I truly believe the employees need more training on how to be a professional and courteous employee. Its very embarrassing that all the customers had the same shocking facial expression as I did. This place is complete ghetto. In conclusion, if you pay with a card, the prices are different than the ones shown on their menu. There is not a disclaimer anywhere on their menu or anywhere...
Read moreHorrible experience. Came for breakfast. They are completely understaffed for peak hours. The line was almost out the door to order food. It took almost 20 minutes just to order. I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich and the breakfast special with scrambled eggs and ham scrambled into the eggs. Another 20 minutes later I am called to the counter to pick up my breakfast sandwich and my sandwich is not on a croissant. I informed the attendant, she didn't verbally acknowledge me...simply took the sandwich from my hand and went to the back kitchen. Upon return didn't acknowledge me either. I waited another 15 minutes until finally my sandwich and the breakfast special came out. I approached the counter to receive my food. Instead, the food was placed behind the counter. Since the girls were busy I waited a few minutes but nothing. I kindly requested if someone could just hand me my food and instead I got an attitude that they were too busy. At the end of all of this my breakfast sandwich had good flavor but lacked egg...barley any eggs in the sandwich. The breakfast special order was wrong. The scrambled eggs did not have the ham scrambled into the eggs. The ham was simply placed as...
Read moreGet your pastalito fix here! Stopped by this location as it was on the way to a friend's place in Miramar. Upon entering, you'll find lots of tables and chairs for dining but they are bar height (not ideal for wheelchairs). Behind the glass counter to the left you'll find the assortment of cakes and small desserts. On the right side of the register, you'll find a variety of pastalitos. They also sell some breakfast food and sandwiches, cafecito, and some juices.
We stood behind what looked like a makeshift line, although they have take-a-number system someone was able to call whoever was next in line. The lady who took our order was very warm and friendly.
Our order consisted of: -2 small trays of croquettas (25 pieces/tray) -Ham & cheese croissant sandwich -Pan con bistec sandwich -2 vanilla cake pops -2 medium cafe con leche (with milk and sugar) -chocolate milk
The total came out to $33 and change!! It did take a little while to get our order ready, but since it was all fresh it was worth the wait. The food was delicious and the cafe con leche was PERFECT!
Great location, food, and service overall. We...
