Cake Art Shop — Local services in Miami Springs

I took the Dominican Cake Baking class today at Cake Art and enjoyed the class very much. The teacher was great and the staff was very polite and attentive. The cake was delicious and I loved every piece of it. Malvina is an excellent teacher, and her cakes are delicious. Furthermore, I would like to say that a couple of years ago, I took the Premium class and gave a negative review that I should not have because of things that I did not put into practice immediately after the end of the course or that I did not learn during the class. There were some things that could have been done differently but for the most part you do learn quite a bit in this class. The only downfall is that if you don't practice what you learn you forget it - which is what happened to me. However, the owner Ana and her staff have always been there to assist me with any issues or concerns that I had and hope that maybe I could take a refresher class of some of the things I forgot. They always go over and above to ensure their clients and customers are fully satisfied. For this reason, I retract my negative review and give this store a 5 star and will continue to come back and take classes as long as they are willing to have me. I've always loved to bake as a hobby but a couple summers ago i decided to try taking some Cake decroating classes here at CakeArt, and oh did i love them i kept coming back every weekend. They have such a variety of different classes, and cake artist and teach you everything they know. From begginers to advance class you can never stop learning new things. I have taken almost every class from premium cake class, to the fondant class, the air brush class, the cake pops class, the french macarons class, the cookies class, the sugar roses class and there is always new classes every month that they offer. For the price and quality of service you get it is completly worth it! They give you all the ingredients you need and teach you step by step everything you need to know. I now have my own side business doing cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and cookies and i thank it all to my wonderful teachers who taught me all i know at CakeArt a couple years ago. I shop here for all my cake supplies and cake needs. Their store is always well stocked and has everything i need and the prices are very fair. If you want to learn how to make a cake thats not the place! They dont teach you anything they are super expensive and then expect you to make a professional cake when they didnt teach u anything they give you the list of things that you need the same day you need them so you have to buy at their store which is really expensive and if you say im going to buy it somewhere else the teacher (malvina) gets mad!
