Love Aldi but not this one. Trouble started in the parking garage. I looks like you're in the wrong place with all county vehicles parked. After getting trapped and turning around, I found the way into the Aldi lot. The elevator area is barely big enough for 1 cart to pass, as long as everyone else gets out of the entrance and out of the way. Then, one has to rush back in b4 the elevator door closes. If that weren't enough, the long ramp to walk in, only allows 1 way for a cart. Not big enough for 2 carts to pass each other, someone has to (once again) back out, to make way. They do have self scanner and I always scan my bags 1st. I had 4X (12 cent) paper bags that I probably swung back and forth 10X to get them to all scan. Setting them up so I can scan my groceries and put straight in the bags. After finishing, an employee came and swooped up one of my bags from the register area, placed it (holding onto it) in my cart. "Did you scan your bags?", she asked. What did she plan to do to me? Take my groceries and verify my 48 cents along with anything else I may have stolen. I showed her my receipt, no apology. That was a BFD for me! Never in my life have I stolen anything. If she were doing her job, she would've easily seen me scanning those bags. Aldi should require their employees to write an incident report AND give the customer a credit toward future purchases. The young lady shouldn't be allowed to wield her 'power' so careless and thoughtlessly. All same Aldi stuff. Actually went there looking for dog food tins (they were out of, anyway). It's closest to my house but...
Read moreAbsolutely pathetic. Imagine working a dead-end job just to go on an ego trip over a shopping cart. I had $160 worth of groceries, and instead of just letting me use the cart that another customer had left behind—because, you know, basic common sense—this balding, miserable, power-tripping excuse for an employee decided to enforce the dumbest rule imaginable. As if denying me a cart somehow justifies their existence.
It’s honestly sad. Do they not pay these people enough to just do their jobs properly instead of making life harder for paying customers? The sheer pettiness over something so trivial yet completely necessary left a bad taste in my mouth—worse than any expired produce they probably stock. Next time, train your staff to be useful instead of compensating for their personal failures by making customers suffer.
Would give negative stars if I could.
And then there's the security guard—if you can even call him that. Another low-life joke who walks around like he’s some top-tier enforcer when in reality, he wouldn’t last two seconds if anything real went down. The guy’s on a full-blown ego trip, acting like he’s guarding Fort Knox, when in reality, he’s just standing around pretending to be important while hassling actual paying customers. Dude, relax. You’re not a cop, you’re not intimidating, and honestly, you could get taken down way too easily for someone who thinks they run the place. Maybe instead of peacocking around like an overpaid mall cop, focus on something that actually matters—if you can figure out what that is with the IQ of a...
Read moreWhat a brilliant design to place an ALDI supermarket on the bottom floor of a new apartment community! As a someone who happens to live in the community, the benefit of having a supermarket just an elevator ride away couldn't be more convenient! Aldi's are known for their competitive pricing and great deals, and this location is no exception. This particular Aldi is clean and well organized. I am particularly fond of the, "Here today, gone tomorrow" section. I look forward to the new surprises stocked every couple of weeks. I've gotten incredible deals on plants and storage solutions as a result. While, they may not have everything I need, every time I need it, it couldn't be more convenient. There are number of self check-out stations. However, it's confusing as it is not organized. Perhaps marked lines might alleviate some of the confusion. I believe there's an opportunity to enhance the shopping experience further by focusing on strengthening the customer service aspect. Enhancing staff training and engagement could significantly elevate the overall customer satisfaction and make every shopping trip even...
