Threefold — Restaurant in Miami

I have tried this place twice and both times I was left disappointed with what I ordered. The coffee and teas are great, if they come out hot. This last time I ordered the “what the French?” French toast, which sounds really good. I realized why it has that name, because I thought something similar when the plate came out. Lukewarm and not very appealing. It’s like they mushed a bunch of tasteless ingredients together and sprinkled cinnamon on it. The taste was underwhelming with the exception of the guava sauce, that was good. The service is ok. No one is rude but no one is very welcoming with the exception of the person making coffee, he was friendly to us on the way and...

I really enjoyed my visit for breakfast. It is a nice intimate setting, with a small outdoor patio if you prefer to eat outside.

I ordered the shrimp fried rice and it is certainly delicious. The portion is large enough for two people to share, and very tasty. It’s served with a perfectly cooked fried egg on top. The dish is perfectly balanced, and makes a great hearty breakfast.

Nice spot, ok service but the food made my experience a bit bad. I ordered the egg on toast with a side of spinach and bacon. The egg on toast was good. The spinach was a bit bitter and the bacon was terrible. I had literally just submitted my order and told my waitress that I was going to run to my car to grab my headphones and my food was out (all of 2-3 min as my car was two doors down).
