Villa Woodbine — Local services in Miami

We had the best experience working with the team at Villa Woodbine. Sandra and Juliette were always very responsive, patient, knowledgeable, professional, and kind. We booked the venue without seeing it in person (did a facetime tour) and we immediately fell in love with every aspect. They were so accommodating and gave us so many recommendations and guided us so well throughout the process. Sandra is one the sweetest, friendliest, and best event managers and we are so lucky we had the pleasure of working with her on our big day. The food and beverage was the highlight of the entire day and we heard nothing but compliments from all of our guests. We had a few dietary restrictions and each of them were so pleased with all of their food! Needless to say no one was hungry at the end of the night. The staff was so accommodating and professional from start to finish. The venue is well taken care of and looks just like the photos, if not better! All of our guests were so impressed. We were worried about the dance floor being inside vs. in the middle of the reception (cannot do it because or noise ordinance) and it actually was the best placement for it. I couldn't say enough good things about Villa Woodbine. If you are getting married in Miami, I don't know why you would consider any other venue. We had the pleasure of working with Eden Bauer and Christina Acosta. We live in Singapore, so planning a wedding from halfway around the world should be difficult, but they made sure it was anything but! Eden met with my sister-in-law initially who checked out the venue and came with a list of questions, she then met with us two other times before the wedding, and made sure everything was exactly what we wanted. Christina was a star, made me feel like an absolute celebrity. She took care of any issues that arose, and I didn't feel an ounce of stress the entire day. The venue couldn't be anymore beautiful - from the courtyard, to the bar area, dessert room, to the bridal suite, the tree, and the garden area, it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The food is out of this world good - my guests couldn't compliment it enough. We just did the tacos, tapas, and milkshake martinis stations - which seems simple enough - but it was anything but that! Great detail was given to every aspect of the food and drinks. I'm sure all the coordinators at the venue are great, but if I had the chance to work with Christina again, I absolutely would. About six months after our wedding, and I’m finally leaving a review!

I first discovered the Villa on Instagram and instantly fell in love. At the time, my then-fiancé (now husband) and I weren’t planning on having a wedding—we were just going to go to the courthouse and call it a day. But I couldn’t get the Villa out of my mind and convinced him to check it out with me. I’m so glad I did. The moment I stepped onto the property, I could see myself getting married there, and my vision came to life.

On September 15, 2024, we had the wedding of our dreams. Sandra Perez and Casey-Lynn Bird were an absolute dream to work with, especially Sandra, who was incredibly patient and resourceful throughout the entire process. The Bill Hansen Catering team also went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable. To this day, our family and friends are still raving about the Villa, the food, and—thankfully—that open bar! The service exceeded all expectations, and I’m proud to say I got to live out my Versailles-inspired wedding dreams right in our beautiful hometown of Miami.
