Only place I have ever had a decent grilled cheese sandwich. Decor is themed around local University of Miami. Menu has a good variety, plenty of tables and large enough space for big crowds. Bathroom stall and restaurant ambient is nothing fancy. The place seems like an old familiar hang out by the side of the road even though it is right on the side of US1. Best way to enter is through the side street behind the fishing store and Burger King by interstate US1 and 27th Avenue. And then turn left on the corner and then left again into a small shopping plaza. The rest of the breakfast food was standard breakfast waffles, sausage and eggs. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She seems like she has been there forever and knows a bunch of the regular customers. I had a grilled cheese sandwich which had the toast perfectly toasted and REAL cheddar that melts and congeals like a good grilled cheese should (only I make it this yummy at home, most restaurant has soft toast and liquid-like cheese due to added oils). I normally put more butter on the toast’s outside and more cheese like Sargento’s from Publix, not that Kraft that seems so processed and mixed with added oils. I also ordered eggs with sausage along with a buttered croissant. My brother ordered a power breakfast with spinach omelet and a Belgian waffle with strawberry cream cheese. I liked that the table had plenty of jam packets and the waitress brought a plateful of butter. No need to keep asking for things. She was also very thoughtful in placing our orders so my brother’s coffee would not be charged again since my meal comes with a free coffee. She kept coming back to make sure we had all we needed and the dishes was promptly retrieved by a kitchen staff so our table was always cleared. Overall, a nice place to have brunch and enjoy a nice meal with family. Prices are very reasonable ($10-$20 per person- we ordered more than most). I will definitely come back to try their lunches too.

Coral Bagels is an inconspicuous, old school, NY style bagel store hidden in a small shopping mall off of US1. Its decor, with booths and posters from 20 years ago, reflects a Miami which is quickly disappearing. A breakfast with a bit of nostalgia. The bagels are authentic and fresh and the breakfast sandwich and home fries were plentiful and delicious. Our server Robyn was a nice as can be and she, herself, is a walking and serving menu. She told us that she has worked there for 20 years and it was delightful to see how she genuinely still enjoys her job. All and all, this place checked all the boxes for a pleasant breakfast experience, which I would highly recommend.

Lovely place. Typical Bagel shop with a Miami twist. Filled with cops during weekdays - making it more legit! Part of the Miami twist is present in their Medianoche bagel, which in my opinion is the best they have on their menu. It’s like a Cuban sandwich in between bagels and with scrambled eggs inside and the signature Cuban mustard, Swiss cheese, ham, pork and pickle mix. And the bottomless coffee is always on point, together with the lovely staff who’s always smiling and eager to serve. Five stars!

DO NOT COME HERE!! I NEVER write a bad review, but these people truly deserve it! We've been coming here for years. Stopped coming two years ago for SAME REASON! Gave them a second chance. Should've never returned!! Waitresses and waiters are STILL blatantly rude. Showed up, (the only ones waiting to be seated). Place was half empty, (it figures) and most of the tables were dirty. Waiter asked us to wait a while he cleaned a table, took about 20 minutes. He finally sat us down no greeting, no eye contact, no water, no coffee, just threw some menus on the table and kept on taking care of others. He never returned to get our order. Finally, we stopped this blond lady (cant remember her name) but she's been there forever and we hoped for some empathy, NOT! She was SUPER RUDE!! She was walking by and we stopped her just to ask her a to call our waiter. SHE DIDNT EVEN ALLOW US TO ASK!! She said "I'm not your waitress today, turned her head and kept on walking." We were simply in shock, as she knows us and has served us many times before. We stood up and left, then that's when they decided to chase us out the door asking us to come back. NEVER AGAIN! DOGS AT A SHELTER GET TREATED BETTER! If you do not want to get mistreated and ignored, DO NOT COME HERE PEOPLE, save yourselves from the abuse. You'll absolutely get no dignity or respect. This used to be one of our favorite places to eat breakfast, unfortunately, this place continues to go on a DOWNWARD SPIRAL. Like the old saying goes, I got bitten by the same dog TWICE! Shame on me. If I could give it a ZERO STAR, I would. Food, don't bother, it has become as substandard as their hospitality. A word to the owner/manager, YOU NEED US MORE THAN WE NEED YOU. There are plenty places to eat in Miami...

So I've been here many times in my life and I always seem to find the food average at best. Everybody is entitled to their opinions, but I don't see how this food is 5.

Every time I've been in here the bagels have not been fresh and always been hard/tough to chew (no matter what day, what time and what flavor bagel). Then the omelettes are very bland and doesn't really have a satisfying taste to it. The sandwiches are big I'll give them that, but they're just your average run of the mill sandwich using boar's Head meat and nothing special or out of the ordinary either. Also the coffee (iced or hot, con leche etc) is just very weak tasting like water type of coffee with really no taste at all either.

Also, when I order for pickup I always get there and have to wait a while for my order to be ready (even if I arrive a while after I placed my order and the restaurant is almost empty). Then always when eat in and order something that comes with a bagel, they always seem to bring my entree first and then bring my bagel after (with a lot of times the server taking other people's orders before bringing me my bagel, rather than just bring me the bagel immediately first). Even 1 time when I went there and eat in, I tried to pay my bill and the server verbally told me the amount, then without saying anything immediately walked away (the next logical thing would be to say, do you want to pay now and not walk away). So I couldn't pay and I had to wait about 5+ additional minutes before he was able to see me, come back and then I was able to pay.

Overall I would come back here once in a while, but this is definitely not a great place in my personal opinion and or a place that would be my "go to" for...
