Food poisioning...purchased two small containers from the Edison saltwater expo for $16. Well I spent my hard earned money to have the squirts EVERY time I eat these things. The first time I brushed it off as something possibly different as there was a line to buy at the show. Second time, I woke up, ate SIX slices, 40 minutes later I was destroying my toilet. Figured it was my other purchase doing me in, the cheese filled pepperoni. Yesterday afternoon, after a solid stool, for a test I ate nothing but 8 old bay pickle slices. I was up all night with horrible stomach pains like ive never experienced, im typing this at 3:23 AM...I cant even leave the toilet. I had to take off of work tomorrow over these damn pickles. I threw both containers out which is a shame, I was really hoping to support a good small buisness but I feel screwed. Funny how the containers say Peter Pepper Pickles PA but nowhere online says that, just the Pickle Lady mabye hiding something? Funny its $7 a pint on their website but $8 at the show, I get it if there was a cost but I doubt they payed to display at the expo as it was $16 just to walk through...
Read moreThere are pickles, then there are Peter Pipers pickles. I used to be a die hard vlassic in a jar at the grocery store guy, but after being offered a sample from this business I'm hooked. The garlic dill pickles are extraordinary. Noticeably more crunchy and "bright" than any pickle from a jar. The price I paid for a quart of pickles was $6.50. A jar of vlassic at the store might cost around $4.50. The extra $2 is more than worth it. Do not take my word for it, try a sample at their stand when you go to the market. Not to worry, they do not skimp on the quart, the really pack the pickles in the container. I must also mention that my experience with service has been above and beyond satisfactory the multiple times Ive visited the Rennigers location. Look, we all can tell when the person working a stand is really proud and cares about their product, and let me say that the people working for Peters are an example of that sort of attitude. One of the few 5 out of 5 reviews I've written, and proudly so, a great business with a great...
Read moreSimply the BEST! We are addicted!!! My husband got me hooked! We first had Peter Piper pickles at a little local shop that carried them. Then we made the 43 minute trip to Renningers and have been going twice a month at least! The more you buy the more you save. The garlic dill are amazing! And my husband also loves the marinated mushrooms. The bagels they carry are amazing too. So soft, and you can toast them to your liking without them getting too hard. And don't get me started on the saurkraut and beet eggs!!! YUMMY!!!
Customer service is exemplary!!! Tara and Phillip are always a delight to talk to while they get our enormous order ready!!! Lol
Just stocked up yesterday 🤤 A must try for all...
