DG Market — Local services in Middlebury

Always too crowded to walk through aisles. Almost all the aisles are filled with carts that have inventory to put away. This is the closest store that sells diapers and I have went in there on 3 different occasions and they were out of both size diapers I needed. I asked on 2 of those occasions if they had any more diapers in back. I was told that they had them there but hadn't put them out yet and to check back in a couple of days. A baby doesn't stop going pee and poop just because you aren't able to buy any...

Website says it’s open until 8 pm.

Got there at 7 pm. Employee wouldn’t let me in because “we’re closing”. We arrived in Shipshewana to camp for a few days. Needed to get a few groceries. Being told that they’re closing an hour earlier than what the website says did NOT make me happy. When I decided to write a review, I saw that there were comments and pics of the filth in the store. Maybe it was a good thing they were closing. Sure won’t be back to this store. Corporate needs to attend...

Quite a large dollar general with a lot more options than many of them have, was a bit unkempt on the day I visited but they seemed short-staffed, so I won't fault them for that. There was only one register open with a line that extended to the back of the store, but again, they seemed pretty short staffed at the time...
