This has been one of the worst experiences with a company i have ever had! We custom ordered a bar, 4 chairs, and a stool in light/dark gray. When we order and PAID for everything up front (almost $3,000 total), we were told it would be in 8 weeks or less. This was in March. 8 weeks go by, nothing. 10 weeks go by, nothing. Fast forward to 28 weeks later and we finally got to pick our stuff this week! Customer service was AWFUL! We would call wanting updates and we literally told "we dont know when itll be here, the material just shows up and he makes it." We were finally told they were having issues getting one of the grays in, but when we went up there to get our stuff there was dark/light gray everywhere. Hmmmmm. We would call and were told we would be called back same day. Weeks would go by without a phone call until we would call back demanding answers. No discount was offered. Of course they offered us a refund though because then they could resell what we ordered for 100+ more dollars than what we paid for it like alot of the furniture thats for sale there now compared to what it was even in March. And not to mention they stapled a piece of paper with my name on it to my bar and a couple chairs and now there are visible puncture marks in it. Please continue to read why I gave a1 star. The store is great! I love everything I got. Problem was, when I got home and opened my bag, two items were missing. About $12.00 to $15.00 worth of the almost $80.00 i spent. The money was bad enough but the two items goes with a glass globe that I got so my beautiful hanging glass decoration was incomplete. I didn’t want the money back, I wanted what I paid for and was willing to drive back for them even though it is an hour and a half round trip, I was willing to go back and get them and probably shop more. When I called to let them know of the missing items, I was treated like a criminal! The lady said yes, those items were on the counter but they thought I changed my mind. Seriously? They are on my receipt! She then said to text the receipt to the manager Which I did. NO RESPONSE. No regard for customer satisfaction. An incompetent sales clerk and manager. Read moreA friend of mine had been shopping in shipshewana about a month ago. She saw something that she wanted, but after visiting many stores that day, a month later she no longer remembered exactly which store she saw this item at. Trying to be helpful, I made a few calls, and with the help of some friendly people on the other end of the phone, I managed to locate the item that she wanted at Easy Sales. Since I'm about an hour and a half away, and there was only one of the item, I asked Rose if she would set that item aside for me, and I would come the next day and look at it with my friend. She said she would, and the next day, my friend and I, drove out to see it. It was just what my friend was looking for and she bought it on the spot. The people are so friendly and helpful. I was told they usually don't set something aside without a deposit on it, but in my case they made an exception. I will definitely go there again if I need some more stuff to decorate my outdoors or even inside my house.
