I am so grateful to be able to have a natural foods store so close to home. Whenever I am running late and donât have time to cook, I can always count on Natureâs Goods to have something delicious and nutritious waiting for me. Their soups are some of the best soups I ever had. Simple perfect, and always a great vegan variety. From soups to wraps to smoothies and salads. Even a delicious mix of chicken cutlets and turkey meatballs and tuna salad for non-vegans. My latest obsession is their homemade flax breakfast treats. Perfect when youâre on the go, and absolutely delicious! It feels good knowing that everything on their shelves have been carefully vetted and personally selected by the owner to ensure product integrity with regards to clean, wholesome ingredients and humane practices.I love the large selection of natural products, grocery items....not to mention huge selection of bulk foods, beverages, and quality supplements. Itâs a one stop shop for all your groceries needs. And if that wasnât enough, they have a lovely gift shop section with cards, scarfs, books, salt lamps, crystals, flower essences and more! The staff there have always been kind to me. At the deli, they are always bubbly and enthusiastic about whatâs on the menu. At check out, I always take a few moments to chat with the owner Barbara about our deep appreciation for natural medicine, eating clean, and how important it is to shop local. I always tell her how grateful I am that she took the risk in opening this natural foods store. Itâs no secret that buying organic costs more, and she took a huge risk on investment in trying to make better foods and cleaner products more accessible to the public. I can say that the prices for most at Natureâs Goods are on par and sometimes even less than competing grocers. And I have to say, it feels pretty darn good to shop local, and even more so from a woman owned...
Read moreSoooo I went in to look for Birch Benders waffles and figured while I'm there I would look around! I went in store on a video chat w my mom! Found my waffles for almost $6 and decided I would not spend $6 on waffles today and began just looking around the store! The store is very small to say the least! Came across some Rao's sauce that I knew my mom would like to see and showed her! Then came across salt rock lamps that I wanted to show my mom! These salt rock lamps are right in middle of store not far from checkout! No one else was in store shopping and suddenly a dark haired woman sneered, "Can I help you?" I politely said "No, I'm good", and that I was just looking around! She said is there something you are looking for? I said " Yes, but I found it!" She said what are you looking for? I said I came in for waffles! And now I found these salt rocks that I was showing my mother! Out of nowhere disparagingly said "NO VIDEOS!!!!!" I said ok! She again repeated herself of NO VIDEOS as I began to tell my mom what was going on! I was about to get off w my mom and then realized WHY!! I wasn't recording, nor taking pics! All I did was turn my phone for my mom to see something at the store and she jumped on me like I was guilty of bad behavior or stealing something! I was not happy how she made me feel and felt I would not continue to spend my time nor my money in this establishment today nor anytime in the future!!!! Honestly this location does NOT deserve even ONE star! She was rude, immediately thought bad of me, and had no reason to treat me in this manner! She did more harm for business than good as I could have not only been a happy customer but spoken highly to others in person and online had she just dialed it back and not assume I was stealing something from her! Just can't believe it! Goodbye...
Read moreIâll start out saying that the other reviews on here, the people actually taking the time to review, theyâre being overly kind. The âdark haired womanâ in there, whoever she is, employee or God forbid, owner, has NO business, absolutely zero, being in any form of customer service/ dealing with the public!! She immediately confronts potential long time customers as if theyâre intruding and just being a nuisance on her busy day of harassing others. She hastily asks âcan I help youâ, help being a euphemism for harass of course, and when told politely, âno thanks, Iâm just lookingâ, thatâs when her loss prevention senses really start kicking in, and she proceeds to stalk you throughout the small space. I find it ironic also, she mustâve asked me, four times at least, if âI needed helpâ again, yeah âhelpâ Iâll play along, and when I actually DID have a question, she told me to âgoogle itâ, soâŚneedless to say here really, I mean look at the other reviews, for what itâs worth, itâs just bad service, and I have never taken the time out of my day to write a review about ANY place, good or bad, this however, was a special circumstance. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! ( Disregard the the star btw) Unfortunately Google requires you to put at least one. đđđź Iâd really like to go on about how truly horrible she is, however, it certainly looks like people...
