CT State Community College Middlesex — Local services in Middletown

My one star is not for the school itself, it's for the staff in this school. If you want to see nasty attitudes go here. Applying for school you're greeted by dirty looks and or the "what do you want look". They make you not want to go into the office. The people in the business office are no help, the dean is NEVER available, and God forbid you have financial issues (fees added after programs/classes were paid in FULL), They Don't help... even with receipts. If I was to give 5 stars, it would go the bookstore. Those ladies are the best in customer service. They greet you, answer questions, and have no issues point you the right direction. Almost impossible to get done what you want done in a reasonable time. Going to take me an extra year for literally 1 class because they don’t have enough seats for me, won’t overfill seats, and overall because they didn’t seem to set my schedule up the way it should’ve been my freshman year so that this didn’t happen. I attended this school as late as 2008. This school is of terrible quality. With few outliers, the teaching staff I encountered was "bottom of the barrel". My 'veteran' math teacher, spoke English as a second language! I did poorly at this school, and yet, I had never been a poor performing student in the past.
