The Ohio Challenge — Local services in Middletown

We went Saturday night. There weren’t a lot of rides, but the kids still had fun. There were a lot of food vendors and some craft vendors but maybe not enough food for the amount of people. The lines were pretty long and the kids complained. I only saw one game, but every kid was a winner so that was a highlight for them. The availability of the park and splash pad was great! There definitely weren’t enough bathrooms. I walked back to the shuttle area to use a portable bathroom because the women’s line was at least 60 ladies. 😯 As for the show, it was amazing! I was a crew member for years and I’ve been to a few different festivals. This one is fantastic! The balloons inflate and fly a short distance while the sun is up so everyone gets that experience. They had skydivers with fireworks the entire time. The glow was gorgeous! Plenty of space for all the spectators to get a good look and be amazed! We will definitely go...

Our family went to the Ohio Challenge tonight. Overall it was a good experience. The hot air balloons, fireworks and sky divers all put on a good show. The environment was family friendly. They also had helicopter rides going on throughout the afternoon and evening.

It's always great. Changes over the years have some pros and cons, onsite parking was great with bus transportation. In years past you could go right up to the balloons but not this year, pretty disappointing. The parachute team, balloon glow, fireworks and drone show are all super awesome.
