Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Middletown

DO NOT order from this particular Pizza Hut. THEY SCAMMED ME OUT OF MY MONEY. I ordered over the phone delivery, put all my info in, paid, and waited. They texted me saying my order is being delivered through doordash, which was weird because i didn’t associate with doordash at all. they then sent me a fake number from the “dasher” and said to call this number. obviously i call and it’s out of service. i get another text update saying “your order has been notified or cancelled. please contact the pizza hut directly” so i call and she sends me to the manager’s phone, and of course, out of service. i call back explaining that that number doesn’t work and i want to speak with someone directly and this lady does the same thing. I call for the now third time, explain my situation, and then ask for a refund because at this point it’s been 2 hours of this mess and i don’t wanna deal with it anymore. The lady tells me she isn’t able to refund me on her behalf of the phone and that i would have to speak to a manager to get that refunded. i explain that if she sends me to the manager it’s not going to work and the phone is out of service. She then hangs up on me. I filed a complaint with the Pizza Hut company themselves. and i truly to think this place is just a scam....

My family orders fairly regularly from this location and this is the absolute worst service I’ve ever received. When I placed my order online, I was quoted a 25-35 minute wait for my 2 large stuffed crust pepperoni pizzas (and free with points breadsticks) to be delivered. I called after waiting over an hour and a half to check in with the store, just to be hung up on. The delivery driver showed up well over an hour late. The order was $35. My husband handed her a $50 and she said she didn’t have “that much change.” He clarified that she didn’t have $15 in change. She had $9 (online it stated drivers carry $20) so we had no choice but to give her a $6 tip on top of the $4 delivery fee for an over an hour late pizza. I checked the pizzas in front of her to see if they were warm- and they were lukewarm at best. The crust was so tough that we gave up on even trying to eat it. I’ve kept my receipt and plan on going to the store tomorrow for a refund. Not sure if this is a staffing issue or a management issue but I won’t be returning. We’ve never gotten this service before! Just order Dominos. Don’t waste your time or your money. My kid went to sleep before it even got here. Dominos wouldn’t have done us like...

There happened to be a woman set up in a booth right inside the door with a laptop. She appeared to be someone in authority. She was talking very loud, at times talking to employees in the back inside of getting up to go to them. At two times it appeared to have her phone sound off, With her no where around. The ring tone also was very loud and went unanswered. Also made it hard for my friend and I to carry on a conversation at our table on the far corner from her in the restaurant. When finally had had enough of the noisy environment and walked out the door to the parking lot, for mentioned female was standing right outside the door talking on her phone and smoking. My friend had wanted a special pizza offered at pizza hut and we want to sit down at restaurant, which is why we choose this location. I personally will not likely return. I should mention the male that brought us our pizza to the table was very pleasant and helpful. The female who appeared to be a manager of some sort, I feel was very rude to everyone in the place. She appeared to be talking to the employees about their upcoming schedules and how they were going to need to work...
