Things started off great until over time the owner which is also a coach began doing things that were I felt inappropriate.

My son began training there and had a decent amount of talent ,he sparred and things seemed okay until the owner decides to put his overly experienced son which he was also older than my boy to train and spar .

Thing is the coach obviously should've known that his son can hit hard and one of his go to shots was to my sons liver .

After so many times of getting liver shots from the coaches son , my boy decided he had enough.

The coach couldn't get him a fight , the coach was pitting his experienced son and hurting my boy it just became too much.

I shouldve spoken up however my son didn't want me to interfere . Now my son doesn't want anything to do with boxing .

I felt bad I was truly hoping he'd follow through and have fun with it. Now he feels humiliated, and phobic about the unnecessary pain he went through and I'm worried it'll be life long.

Now what we experienced may not happen to anyone else , I'm sure others are enjoying themselves there and it's great. I think mistakes were made and were unnecassary and avoidable.
