Discount Fashion Warehouse Gahanna — Local services in Mifflin Township

Last week I shopped there. All the fitting rooms were closed. Went to the front counter and asked the guy (Donate) if I can return my items just in case they don’t fit since the fitting room is closed. He said yes. I went to go check out and there was a lady and just to double check I asked her the same thing and was told can only exchange or gift card. Different information. I wish I had put everything back then but I went ahead with my purchase because I was okay with just getting a gift card if need be.

Went home and tried on my items. Most did not fit. Came back today. Told the girl at the front desk (Latisha) I’ll just take a gift card.. since I didn’t want to exchange she said she can just go ahead and just refund me which I was happy about. A couple hours later when I tried to get gas my debit card declined. I looked at my bank account and saw that I was charged instead of refunded.

Wasted time and gas heading all the way back to the store. I asked the girl (Latisha) if I could please just be refunded in cash at this point since my credit card was now in the negative to to HER error. Literally showed her my bank account. She speaks with the manager on the phone and I’m told I can only be refunded back to my credit card.

I will NEVER step foot in this store again. The place is junky, unorganized, bad selection compared to when I used to shop there about a year ago. Not sure if it’s because of new management it it’s definitely gone downhill. And last but not least TERRIBLE customer service. They do not give AF about us...

I would give this Gahanna location a higher score however I asked to hold some clothes that I wanted to purchase behind the counter and they had me put them in the front of a cart. I continued to shop and when I was ready to check out, they had put most of them back. This is a warehouse type of store and you really have to take your time, look and try the clothes on because they are final sale. I was disappointed and one of the associates was rude. The one that checked me out was apologetic and went to see if they may have been put back by the dressing room. Because the clothes are priced so right, you have to carry them around and there is no where to sit. The store is hot and under lit but the designer clothes are...

I have now gone to this Gahanna location and also the Northland location. The Gahanna location has a better selection of men's stuff and their accessories, purses, shoes, bras, belts, etc seemed better organized and maybe better selections. The Gahanna location also seemed a little better organized overall as well. However, that said - they would almost have to be more organized for it to work because it's much smaller. I think the Northland location was better laid out and better clothing selection for women. Both had nice helpful staff, but I would also rank the Northland location better on that...
