Beautiful view from Mountain Theater Fire Trail that connects to Forbes Bench and Old Mine Trail. Great way to enter to Mountain Theater if you're parking down by Pantoll Road before Rock Spring Trailhead Parking lot. Rock Spring trailhead parking lot is closed for pre-paid parking patrons (& dinner circle ticket holders) and volunteers and staff on Mountain Play...

The Forbes Bench is easily accessible and offers a south facing view from Mount Tam. It is a historic stone/rock bench that sits atop a hill under a large oak tree. The view on a clear day allows you to see for miles all the way to San Francisco...
