Steep Ravine Hot Springs — Local services in Mill Valley

Amazing place, but only if invited by a local and at the right time(my lips are sealed as to when). The seacave's hotspring water can be temporarily dammed between tides to create a nice hot temp. Went in 2016 for a wedding in Stinson and the entire wedding was planned around this hot spring. Sea anemones, starfish, and crabs were part of the experience. Yes it's near where I actually just found the new Water Place coming out of the end of Mount Tam quite delicious. The walk down is not for the faint-hearted. Have really good Rubber Sole shoes maybe even tie up boots long sleeves and maybe fingerless gloves. Bring a couple towels something to drink water whatever. A pair of thongs to walk in the water and not hurt your feet on the rocks on the bottom they're pretty smooth but you're freaking going to cracks. Super lame. Absolutely nothing of note here. The road is blocked year-round with a locked gate for State Park reservations only. Which of course you have to make 6 months in advance with a trigger finger and a super fast internet connection just to get a spot to camp. There is absolutely no roadside parking and the highway is treacherous with cars and superfast cyclists.
