Just to be clear, the stylist I worked with was great. However, their scheduling side of things needs some help. I was a new client and they asked me if I wanted to schedule an appointment 3 months out. I said yes, thinking this was a place I would want to continue with and thinking I would get some reminders before hand. Only a phone call reminder was given. Who checks their phone messages these days? I am used to other salons sending text messages and emails to confirm appointments. When the time of the appointment came, a front desk staff called me and put me on the defense as if I did something terribly wrong in missing appointments. She said I would be charged $25. Later I look at my account and it is $60. It just felt like there was no accountability on this business’ end on how they could do better with scheduling and reminders. The person was very rude and it’s unfortunate because the stylist was great. Instead of saying “hey we understand we didn’t do a great job this time with confirming your appointment, we value customer service, when are you free to reschedule?” They treated me as if I had committed a crime and gave no option to reschedule just that I would be charged.

I would recommend not giving your CC number here as they need to work on their customer service scheduling reminders. I spoke to Cody who was great at listening and I asked to speak to the owners about this but of course they were not available. Danielle’s abilities when it comes to cutting hair far exceeds anything I’ve ever experienced with the multitudes of haircuts I have received throughout my life. She takes into consideration the texture, thickness, and cowlicks in my hair and cuts in a way that accentuates all of the above. My hair is thick but fine, wavy, and dry in this Utah climate, but because of her talent and the knowledge she has in regards to the right products to use to enhance the wave without weighing it down, I am able to wash and air-dry and receive endless compliments on my hair, including from hair-stylist/patients I’ve encountered at my job in a hospital. She’s cut my hair into very short pixie/undercuts, and lately into long, face-framing layers and it’s all been amazing. On top of it all she is funny and easy-going and makes going to get my hair done relaxing vs. a nuisance considering my busy work and home life. I highly recommend her...

What a great experience! I had an appointment with stylist Ali North. It was apparent immediately that she is dedicated to her craft. She really puts the time into understanding expectations and delivering a phenomenal service. Best haircut Ive ever had. The salon is clean, crisp and bright! There is an amazing energy from everyone working there. Ali gave me exactly what I was looking for including the most relaxing scalp massage EVER! Just what I needed after a day of holiday shopping. The care received is worth more than I paid in my opinion and I am so happy to have been recommended to 1 Salon. Ive found my new hair home!
