Ah, Cancun Cafe in Murray, UT—a hidden gem where the flavors are as vibrant as the decor, and the portions are as generous as a Texan's heart. Let's dive into this plate, shall we?
First off, the presentation is a fiesta for the eyes. The colors pop like a Mariachi band in full swing, with the deep red of the enchilada sauce, the golden glow of melted cheese, and the fresh green cucumber slice that looks like it just stepped out of a telenovela.
The enchiladas are the main event, smothered in a sauce so rich it could probably pay off your student loans. The cheese is melted to perfection, creating a gooey blanket that's as comforting as a warm hug from your abuela.
Beside it, the Mexican rice is like a confetti of flavors, each grain distinct yet together, they party like it's Cinco de Mayo every day. The beans, smooth and creamy, could probably double as a spa treatment for your taste buds.
And let's not forget the cucumber slice, standing tall like a proud sentinel, offering a crisp, refreshing break from the richness of everything else on the plate. It's like the palate cleanser you didn't know you needed but now can't live without.
The ambiance? Warm and inviting, with the kind of decor that makes you feel like you've stepped into a cozy hacienda. The service? As attentive as if you were the star of your own novela.
In summary, dining at Cancun Cafe isn't just a meal; it's an experience. It's where your taste buds go on vacation, and every bite is a postcard home saying, "Wish you were here!" If you're in Murray, UT, and you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine that doesn't skimp on flavor or portion size, Cancun Cafe is your go-to. Just remember to bring your appetite and perhaps a friend to share, because these plates...
Read moreI like this cozy restaurant's food, but I am annoyed with their "customer service". The last time I ate here before tonight the man working was very rude. He did not greet us, just was bitter.. like he had been having the worst day of his life. Either way, friendly service is a must in my opinion. Especially because going out to eat should be fun! I don't want to feel like I am a burden on someone. Especially if I am paying them. Well tonight was the first time I have ordered something to go, and I won't do it again. Apparently paying $2.00 extra for salsa is only one 2 ounce plastic Jell-O shot cup sized container. After paying for my extra salsa I should have had 4, I only had 3. I unfortunately did not notice until I was home. I called and that just made me more upset because she didn't apologize for not giving me my extra salsa and tried to act like everything was correct after she had explained to me each meal comes with one salsa, plus the salsa and chips that come with the order in general, and the extra salsa I had ordered. I ordered two meals, with extra salsa, however only got three baby salsa cups. Now that is just greedy (in my opinion). Definitely poor customer service. Again. & The fact that she literally explained it all to me but still denied that she had not actually given me the extra salsa that I paid for is what really upsets me. I even tipped...
Read moreThis is the best mexican food restaurant in the valley with the most flavorful food. I have been to just about every mexican food ait down restraunt in the valley all claiming to be true authentic mexican food and none have been as close to authentic as Cancun Cafe. And the prices are very reasonable on their food drinks and even their adult beverages. If you can walk out of there still hungry it is your own fault. Their portions are generous. If you are super hungry you can just order "The Biggest Burrioto You Have Ever Seen" (that is what it is called on the menu) it is a 5 or 6 pund burrito filled with steak chicken pork or you can have all of them in the same burrito rice and beans and smothered with three different sauces. You will not regret going to this mexican restraunt and you may never want to go to another one...
