I purchased some of this resin paint after seeing an advertisement on Etsy. I painted my front door and it came out beautiful. Two weeks later I came in with the mail and noticed a bunch of small bubbles all over the bottom of the door where the morning sun hits it. I contacted the Etsy seller and she responded that she has never seen or heard of things like this happening and she suggested that possibly I had not prepped the door correctly and she told me to remove paint where there were bubbles, lighly sand the spots, prep them again - I have done this now twice and still when the sun hits the door more bubbles appear. My husband now wants to lightly sand the entire door down to the original paint, prime it and then repaint it, hoping the issue is with the prep. What started out as a fun project has quickly turned into a big headache. The original seller has offered me no help or guarantee, which is very frustrating. I did order more of this paint in a different color which I used to paint the inside of two steel doors and I have had no issues with them. I only did the inside of the door to the garage. I did both sides of the door to the patio and the outside of this door does not get direct sun exposure so I am assuming there will be no similar issues with these projects. I really want to love this product but I don't know that I would ever put it onto an exterior surface where it is exposed to direct sunlight again. Also, the prep spray has no list of ingredients, which I think is a problem for anyone with allergies. And the prep spray has rather sketchy instructions on how to use...
Read moreBought some Cotton colored paint after reading all the amazing reviews about how easy this product is to work with. I'd seen multiple people write about how it was great for kitchen cabinets, so I decided to give it a go. I can't even express how disappointed I am in this product. There are brush strokes present (even though it says it's self leveling and we used very high quality nylon brushes), the coverage is spotty. Even after 2 coats, it just is not covering evenly, and the paint is scratching off when my husband barely touched it with his fingernails while putting our cabinet doors back up the next day. We used the very expensive prep spray too to ensure we would have good results. My mom, sister, and I all read up on the product and we are all shocked at how terrible our experience and...
Read moreI LOVE this furniture paint!! In our wedding rental business I needed a paint that would last, not scratch off and looked professional. Many times we are painting antique furniture. Spray paint, chalk paint and milk paint were not going to do the furniture justice or last. Searched everywhere. Paid a lot for other brands and their brushes. Tried to make our own. Rethunk Junk is the most professional AND cost effective and NO wax to attract dirt. It dries fast so I can paint more in less time. So grateful...
