I began ordering from John Henry's in March 2020, upon excellent reviews from a friend who was also a long-timer customer of theirs. It's now October 2020 and I have ordered on a monthly basis, turning my account into a farm share. Customer service is excellent, the packaging is top notch and shipping and delivery has been without issues. But it's really about the products, which have consistently been outstanding! Everything from ground beef to pork chops to roasting chickens and even a bone-in turkey breast has been absolutely delicious! If you are used to over-sized, chemical-laden meats, this is not the farm for you. We’ve been on a monthly bundle program since the beginning of COVID and couldn’t be more happy about how consistently delicious the food is. The chicken, pork, beef and seafood is so much more delicious than Costco or any other butcher and we love how we can edit and customize our order easily based on what we have left over before the next shipment. We also love that we never have to buy meat from the store which gives consistency to our monthly budget and makes for swifter weekly produce grocery shopping. Only complaint is that I wish we could someone donate back the coolers and ice packs so they could be reused…but...

We decided as a family about a year ago to cut out meat consumption, and at the same time make sure the meat we were eating was locally sourced and high quality.
