First i will say this facility has a lot of tracks, the staff I encountered were really nice even including the emts that hang around waiting to go on the track. Usually the places i go like the landing park mx and wicomico they let you ride whenever whatever track no restrictions on what vehicle you ride or size of the vehicle...as a newer rider i went to Field of dreams just for the vet track...but when i get there i hear that little bikes go to the big track and quads go to the vet track....they will rotate atvs, small and big bikes on the two tracks but not all at the same time. I went on a Wednesday....I understand i could have went on the national track but as a newer rider i am not ready for this and dont want be in other riders way or cause a accident....needles to say i only got to go on the vet track 3 times for 20 minute sessions. maybe i had missed one announcement using the restroom as they say who goes where over the speakers..i payed 75$....i really enjoyed the vet track forsure it was perfect for me to learn on...but i really wish they could have it like other moto parks where you can just ride where and when you want and also ride with atvs! Its no bigge at all!...they have a beginner track for the little bikes that big bikes cant go on but they dont have a track for intermediate just for big bikes to go on...I understand they want to give everyone a chance to ride but i only rode 3 times with the 5 hour window. Other places I go to i ride with quads and little bikes and never have a problem most riders respect each otherâs space ...this is my only complaint about field of dreams. Other then that it is a nice facility and they have nice tracks, some of the loose ruts can get you good if your not ready for them and the texture of the ground is looser then i am use to...if you are a new rider and want to get the most out of your money keep in mind the rotations on Wednesday.. other then that it was fun and i will be back and i hope i can ride more then 3 times i could have gone out for 7 sessions. A little to pricey in my opinion but they do have a nice set up and the staff were great, one guy getting me amped as i went around the track...that was great lol think about letting little bikes ride with big bikes sometimes...so we dont wait so long to go on the track we want or let the little bikes stay on there track and if they want go to the other...
Read moreI researched the field of dreams website and they stated they have miles of trail riding. So, I loaded up my two ATVâs with my 10 year old son and drove an hour and a half for our very first highly anticipated trail riding experience. When I got there I was pretty excited seeing all the motor-cross rides. I was a little concerned not seeing any ATVâs but the staff assured me that the ATV trails are endless and fun. So, I signed up for a membership for my son and I unloaded and was unsure where the trails were the gate employee explained there are miles of trails. I followed his directions precisely just to find rough terrain, and one road block after another whether it was a tree down (which there were many) or a deep swap that I wasnât about to attempt to get stuck in. Basically I tried every trail possible for an ATV to get through only to find one road block after another. So, disappointing my son and I literally were so frustrated we were only able to (and I am being generous) had about 75 yards of trail riding then had to turn back to square one. I asked the same gentleman at the gate that there wasnât anyway to get around the swaps and the trees down to enjoy the trails he stated that I would have to remove the trees myself. Yeah maybe instead of catering to the motocross riders you guys should clear the trails so ATV riders can enjoy the miles of trails that they claim they have to offer on line. Also what really bothered me is they had a clean small round ATV track that had a sign DO NOT ENTER. However, I then seen ATV riders on that track being videotaped so I started to ride over there with my son thinking maybe they opened it but no such luck there was a man holding a video camera told us no go back! Apparently, I found out it was a staff member that was probably video recording ATV riders having fun for there misleading website. What is terrible experience my son and I were so upset we just got bored and so frustrated after riding in a small circle we just packed up and went home. What a nightmare experience NOT ATV FRIENDLY! They only are concerned about there motor-cross riders! I would never...
Read moreWe went to Field of dreams for a district combination race got to the gate and told we werenât racing the big track the 4 to 6-year-olds will be thrown on a mini track, bummer but whatever we came to race four or five lap race on the mini track whatever, not only did we pay the same price as every other parent to get through the gate but they cut our laps from 4 to 3 laps, might not sound like a big deal to some other parents but at the end of the day we are paying the same money to get through that gate we paid $130 that day for just a district race not a championship race not a qualifier race a district race. Our second Moto they cut us to two laps, charged us for transponders that we never used and still donât want to issue people refunds. The track itself great design layouts for the track as far as the establishment and staff goes total garbage. We are all customers and you see over 1000 face is a year but at the end of the day without those faces you have no business. I donât care about the money that I spent for the membership this year I donât care that weâve gone down there 14 times since April I donât care that weâve already spent over $1000 just at this track the point is I will never bring my kid here again I will never bring my family back to this place, its been about 4 years since this review, new ownership has really buckled down and made this place 10x better! Tracks prices arent up to the owners, the state of jersey is just nuts! We ride here ALL the time under...
