Mineral Wells Nursing & Rehabilitation — Local services in Mineral Wells

I’m a hospital social worker that used to work in the area that MWN&R serves; I would send referrals to this facility, and was always able to speak with someone about the referral quickly; could tell the staff my concerns that family had voiced to me about their worries of new placement and could feel assured that the family would be greeted and made to feel as comfortable as possible. Quick referrals for last minute needs weren’t an issue. Anytime I would bring personal belongings that were left by a patient, were always taken with ease and properly given back. I have been to facilities where staff greets you with a “deer in the headlight” look, or have waited for a long time to even be greeted. This facility was always clean and was quick to to greet people entering, and get them to the right person for any questions. I still call them today, on occasion, when I have financial questions for placement because they’ve always been willing to answer any question I have,...

The most terrible place I've ever visited. My father fell more times than I can count and he was in there for rehab, as far as I'm concerned they help kill my father I will live with regret for the rest of my life for putting him there There was one lady that worked there in particular who I swear I don't know why she still there. I would see the staff get frustrated with certain people that live there and the way they spoke made me sick. Listen, you can get some people to write some good reviews but you'll get one true and that one comes from me. I will be happy to share with you my experience if you're on the fence in putting your love ones in a home. My sister is currently living here and loves this facility. However.... Today makes the second time I've had to get the police involved to do a welfare check on her because they won't answer there phones. Her being deaf, uneducated with cerebral palsy makes it difficult to communicate with her. She'll text me Emojis letting me know she needs something... Today she wants to see a DR because she doesn't feel well and is having a cough and feeling like she has temp. I'm trying to call them to advocate for her but nothing I'm doing is working.... So again I get the police involved .... I wish this facility would answer...
