Palo pinto nursing home. Smoke and mirrors. If you care about your love ones, this is not the place for them. They kept throwing nasty sheets and lifting nets along with underwater with human waste all over them on my fathers side. They don’t follow state law procedures on handling your love ones money. One of their workers kissed and hugged all over him all the time and the put in his record he had misbehavior around women. He stayed so medicated down he could barely function. They took him to the emergency room at the hospital and never notified us or the VA. They stated and documented that he was a one on one patient however I never saw anyone with him and when I recorded on camera this WAS not takening place. They turned around and called me the next morning stating he was healed and no longer required one on one, no longer had bad behavior issues.( It’s a miracle) moved him to Keeneland in weatherford. He is back to being dad. Day and night difference. We went out and got a hamburger together . When Palo pinto brought his money to Keeneland they did so in cash in and envelope instead of following state law trust laws. I will be filling complaints with every agency involed. Don’t count on your local state agencies to help. After filing a complaint had one missed call from them. Called back at least 5 times to discuss problems and never received a call back. Than one day got a call saying they found no problems after interviewing the staff. I asked why she didn’t check the things I was concerned about and she replied I wasn’t aware of them. I stated because you never called me back! She replied well I’m busy. So since we never met and talked and she never watched the video I took or looked at the photos. She basically asked the employees are you doing a good job and looked at some residents. I hope her happy butt ends up there when she gets to that age. I’m so sorry dad I put you through this for 4 months. God help the ones...

My mother has been living at Palo Pinto Nursing Center for over a year. She suffers from dementia and is also wheelchair bound. I live five hours away, so it was difficult to leave my mom in the care of a nursing home knowing I am so far away. However, I have been so very happy with the exceptional care that she receives there. The staff is amazing! They are very communicative and call me anytime there is any change to her care. They also conference call with me so that I can participate in her care plan meetings long distance. Everyone I have dealt with there has been nothing but compassionate and caring. When I visit, the place is always clean and she is happy and well taken care of. I am so very grateful for this place and how...

Thank you for allowing me to be a resident here at your facility. This is my second family, the staff is amazing! Some of the nurses, namely Tami Stevens, Banae and Ronnie and cna's Veronica, Ashley Davis, Tammy and Amanda( on the overnight shift) Bonnie, Cathy and Candace, Lacie Mc Cloud and the new 3-11pm cna Tiffany, All of your office staff and Ernest in dietary have gone above and beyond what is just required for the resident care. They treat us with such care and humanity combined with humility. They are deserving of such pride.. I just wanted you to know I appreciate them and you! Thank You,
