I had never been in that place, it was the first time and the last since I went to fix my hair, I am Hispanic. I thought the communication would be very good, I went to talk to Tony to attend to me because I had asked for the appointment with him. At the end he told me that someone else would take care of me after I had asked for the appointment with Tony, in the end the lady took care of me, she made the tincture in my hair, then she suggested that I make a katerin to remove the frizz from my hair, I told her that I had understood that it was to straighten hair and I like my hair, to which she replied no, that is only for frizz, and it is not to lift the hair I told her I was doing it and she did it to me and I started to feel a little burning. He told me that this was normal, we finished and left for my home, but he continued with the burning in his skull, his ears. and my forehead, then I come to my house more calmly I look in the mirror and I see that my skull and ears are red and burned by the chemist of the katerine, the next day I wash my hair and I see that my hair is totally I made my curls disappear, after this woman told me that it would not happen that the keterone was only for the frezz, they charged me $ 230 for making the dye, catering that supposedly was for the frizz and not for straightening the hair, I have many burns in my head for that chemical in the ear, the skull and forehead that a week ago and still continues with those burns, they are not professionals to anyone I recommend going to that place
Read moreI had never been to this place before. The place my family usually goes to, doesn't do permanents, which was what I needed. Usually the only one in the family that goes to the salon is my daughter, for hair cuts. However I've been ill, and it was decided that I needed a treat, so I should go to the salon to have my hair done and get some pampering. I only had one day i could get it done on. Most of the salons were closed, because it was a Sunday. So I was thrilled to find this place open. I called ahead to make sure they could fit me in and went. It turned out to be a Hispanic salon. I was the only white person in the place. That's fine I didn't care about a thing like that, all I cared about was if they could perm my hair! Everything seemed fine, and everyone was nice until the woman who was supposed to do my hair came to get me. She tried to speak to me in Spanish, despite the fact that I had to look like the single most unlikely to speak Spanish person on Earth,I just smiled and apologized that I did not know Spanish. She replied with 'Oh.' Then she asked if I'd been there before, to which I said no. Basically the conversation was short and clearly implied the message, 'What the hell are YOU doing here?!' She then proceeded to talk about me with the other people around her in Spanish as if I can't tell when someone is making fun of me, by gesturing to my hair, having people come over to look at it and then laughing?! Right, clearly not talking about me at all! Then she proceeded to do my hair, hitting me in the face with my own hair repeatedly, soaking me in perm solution, clean through to my bra, and so on and so forth! I have never been so poorly treated at any salon in my life! I spoke to the manager, who was very nice, and very apologetic, and said he would speak to her about it...and asked if my perm was okay, which I thought it was. However no compensation was offered me at all not so much as a discount! It cost me $85 to be so insulted! And after I got home and the time elapsed and I could wash my hair? The perm sucks too! Be sure I will never go back to this place again, if I could give it minus stars I would have!!! If your not Hispanic? Don't go to this place, they don't want...
Read moreWhen I originally called to make the appointment I stated what my needs were and they said were ok doing what I was requesting. When I go to the location (which was my first time visiting), one of the workers named Tony wasnât sure what I was talking about so he had someone else take care of me (Bibiana). She told me what I wanted wasnât done there anymore and that their website wasnât being updated since they changed ownership. She only washed my hair once (wasnât properly washed) then drying my hair and flat ironed it with my hair still being wet (which I could hear it burning at the same time), then kept burning the side of my face and ears and never tried to even apologize. I honestly donât even believe theyâre professional hairstylist whatsoever if they donât know how to deal with ALL kinds of hair, which is why ppl pursue careers as hairstylist. On top of that, they charged me so much for a job that took less than a hour, wasnât done right/wasnât what I wanted and the attitude of Bibiana was careless like she wanted to finish up with me ao she could go sit down. Workers donât even speak English as itâs (and Iâm Spanish speaking but supposedly they have all kinds of people come in). If I could give them a 0 I would. Deff not satisfied and I wouldnât recommend this place to anyone who isnât their kind of people and type hair...
