Very nice park with plenty of green space, trails, and wildlife, as well as mini golf, a playground, and nice lake areas. We had a fun afternoon here, my mom, myself, and my young 8 year old cousin, playing mini golf, and riding a rented 2 seater quad-cycle! And at the end of our afternoon while walking back to the car we noticed a turtle walking across the walkway. I picked him up and noticed he had an old healed damaged part of his shell. I decided to shorten his already tediously long looking journey over to a nearby pond for him, which surely he appreciated. Overall, we had a fun time and recommend checking the Veterans Park out if you're looking for something fun to do.

Great park. Good walking and biking trails. It has a cool floating bridge and a new playground. They used to have concessions in the summer, not sure if they still do. On the Fourth of July it is the place to be. They just put up a new band shell. Can't wait to see what they do with it.

Very nice place to take a walk and spend some time outdoors with little ones, playground is decent size and has different activities, spend a very nice family time, there's also a cafeteria, you can get hamburgers, soft drinks and there's restrooms too!

I have been going to diffent events at the park for years. I have allways had fun with family and friends at gatherings. Only problem this time i was invited to attend redlake urban annual picnic. Well this year mother nature , i guess decied to let "the bees out" queen bees , hornets, ect.... The park was loaded with them. I feel the park should of known there was a problem with bees in the park prior to saturday and not only sprayed the area redlake had reserved months prior to our gathering but the whole park. They were in every area i went. I know at least three people that were stung and overheard other people in the parking lot who brought their children to play at the play ground but were leaving because of the bee's. Not good for...

The playground is one of our favorites with the BEST zip line play structure that we’ve seen! The tall climbing structure was also a favorite. We celebrated a birthday by playing on the playground, eating pizza and ice cream from the concessions stand (it’s frozen pizza) and ended the day with mini golf. While we were there the large pavilion had a farmer’s market and later on some sort of reunion/party. I did not get a chance to check out the walking path but will definitely do that next time!

5 stars for the playground area 3 stars for difficulty in getting a hold of someone for info about having a party. We ended up just winging it and showing up and it worked out in the...
