Albertsons had a great sale this week in the meat department with the ribeye steaks, lobster tails, shrimp, and king crab assorted pieces. I ended up with about 300.00 worth of meat. Saved about 125.00 on my bill overall. What better experience can you have then to get your groceries and save money in getting what you want. So the Russell Square Albertsons was a favorable experience. The store was neat and clean. The entry way of the store had the Mask mandate visible to all that upon entry it was a requirement to masked up and social distancing was 6 feet apart in the aisles and at the cashiers. The aisles were well marked for ease of locating what you were after. The employee's were very professional, helpful and courteous. The cashiers were thorough and quite efficient, the boxer was a very respectful also did an outstanding job with the bagging. The overall experience was very enjoyable and a nice savings in my wallet!
So Bravisimo, bravo and bravo.
I left the store a happy shopper, which is challenge to do these days with the Covid-19 pandemic. I got to my car and realized I had lost my glasses. I figured I would not have any luck in finding them, and my savings on the groceries was gone to the cost of a replacement set of eye glasses. I went to customer service and asked if any had been turned in. No luck there, but as luck would have it the manager came out of the office right at that time. I asked her if she had been given any eye glasses? She was very proficient and polite in her answer of a ( Very Welcomed )! Yes, she had and went and got them for me. So the whole experience was a good one indeed.
The store is accessible from Russell street and from 39th street . There's plenty of easy parking with handicapped parking and access. Restrooms were clean and orderly. And one of the benefits of going to Russell Square there is several different places to get really great takeout food such as sandwiches or pizzas. I'm a big big fan of Papa Murphy's take home and bake pizza and there is a shop just down from the Albertsons. Great service and accessibility. The double stuffed 5 meat is a great pie to have for a hungry crowd. It comes in small to family size which is enough for 6-7 people. And is not that expensive! Plus they also have salad options, cookie dough and the breadsticks with marinara sauce is a favorite of our teenage boys at home. Pizzas come wrapped ready to put in the oven with easy to follow instruction instructions on the wrapper. Easy peasy. So go try one of their special pies you won't regret it. Actually there are two Papa Murphy's in Missoula. At 3rd and Garfield St. Off Russell and it's got a drive thru window. Don't forget to buckle up and no cell phone use while driving. Happy...
Read moreThis shopping square’s potential is not being realized. Despite it’s location in the so called upscale and desirable South Triangle Neighborhood of Missoula. Most of the Satellite shops revolving around an Albertsons super store are empty. The Breakfast Club is a great place for early morning to late morning risers for the most important meal of the day. Starbucks is located in Albertsons offering full service consistency of their products.(I’m there every morning pretty much.) The great thing about the ghost town atmosphere is absence of crowds and long lines. Still a little known secret for those of us still in our robes when going for...
