Desperado Sports Tavern — Restaurant in Missoula

Extremely disappointed with this visit to the Desperado. I met up with some friends to watch Monday Night Football this week, and this will be the last time I go to the Desperado. It was not as busy as I expected for a Monday Night Football game, I'd say about 2/3 of the tables were being used. I sat down at my friends' table, and it took 43 minutes before I was asked if I would like to order anything. During this time, the server brought out my friends' drink orders but never even acknowledged me. If it had been as busy as I've seen this place in a past visit I might have understood, but even a quick "Hey, I'll be with you in just a second" would have been okay. Instead, one of my friends had to ask if they were going to take my order or not. Overall, the service was very slow. The wings were tasty though. The next disappointment was when I cashed out. I had one order of spicy teriyaki wings and two beers.......I was told my total was $39.50. Mind you, the wings were $15.50, which means I was charged $24 for just 2 beers. After a 12 hour day at work, I wasn't in the mood to argue over anything. But that was THE absolute LAST time I'll ever go to...

WARNING: NO KIDS NO Families!! I'll give this place half a star, some creepy old man watched me unload my kids out of the car then as soon as I got to the door, opened it and said "No kids, thanks," then slammed it in my face before I could even simply ask a question, definitely not coming back here ever again...How rude is that? I drive from out of town, all the way across the city and this place can't even treat me like a human being? They hire a bearded troll to guard the gates of this place to ensure that kids or families stay at least 50 ft from it. They need to just post a sign "Absolutely no families or kids! However, Meth heads, extreme alcoholics, and addicted gamblers eat for free!"

I understand you're a dirty place and you're probably still cleaning up from the wild party the night that involved doing lines of crack-cocaine behind the bar til 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning, and probably don't want customers to come by at 11 am cause you're not done cleaning up the mess....but seriously, is it too much to ask to simply be treated like a...

Do not go there with a large group, even if you call ahead and they tell you they will make sure to staff accordingly. We ordered food for the group, then I placed a personal order over an hour later. They brought out my personal order first, gave it to the group. I had to go up to find out where the rest of the order for the group was. I was told it would be out soon. When I asked for the personal order to go (ordered 20 minutes earlier) I was told that it was already brought out. We watched as the entire bar got their orders before our group order placed over an hour earlier despite the others coming in sfter us snd ordering much later than we had. Who does that??? I had to pay for an order that I never received. We love the food, but will go elsewhere from now on. Also, when our server did come to take our drink orders, she ignored half of the group who were trying to order a drink. Our server...
